A Mirrow Into Which We Gaze Mighty Weapon Of Warfare "GOD'S WORD IS QUICK AND POWERFUL" For The Word Of God Is Quick, And Powerful, And Sharper Than Any Twoedged Sword, Piercimg Even To The Dividing Asunder Of Soul And Spirit, And Of The Joints And Marrow, And Is A Discerner Of The Thoughts And Intents Of The Heart..(Heb.4:12).
The Word Of God Is Quick, "God's Word Is Pure Truth And Pure Power, And As Such Works With Incredible Speed...
(John.1:14).Speaks Of Jesus As The Word Made Flesh. When Jesus Spoke In The Synagogue In Nazareth, He Said, "The Spirit Of The Lord Is Upon Me" Because He Has Anointed Me To Preach The Gospel To The Poor; He Has Sent Me To Heal The Brokenhearted, To Preach Deliverance To The Captives, And Recovering Of Sight To The Blind, To Set At Liberty Them That Are Bruised."
(Luke.4:18)... Though Jesus, The Living Word, Is Not With Us In The Flesh,--We Have The Written Word And The Holy Spirit To Quicken It In Our Lives....It Can Still Speak To Consciences, Heal The Brokenhearted, And Provide Deliverances To Those In Bondage. Not Only Is The Word Quick And Powerful, It Is "Sharper Than Any Twoedged Sword." In Fact, (Ephesians.6:17). Calls The Word Of God, "The Sword Of The Spirit." The Sword Was A Mighty Weapon Of warfare During Old And New Testament Times, So It Is Only Fitting That The Word Of God---The One Offensive Weapon God Has Given Us--Be Likened To A Sword...Just As A Sharp Sword Can Effortlessly Divide An Apple In Two, So can The Word Of God Divide The Soul And Spirit Of Man.
No Other Force Can Penetrate The Core, Or Marrow, Of A Man More Deeply Or Make As Critical A Dissection...The Word Of God Can Isolate The Heart And Determine Its Intents In A Way That No Analyst Can.
It Is A Discerner, A Mirrow Into Which We Gaze And Behold Our True Self-Strengths And Weaknesses, Achievements And Sins...
None But The Hard-Hearted Can Read The Word Of God And Not Be Moved...
Let Us Each Pray That We Never Reach The Point Where We Close Our Hearts To The Word Or Regard It As An---"Ordinary" Book.....
We Should Revere The Word Of God And Use It As A Guidebook For Our Lives, Heeding God's Command To--"Meditate Therein Day And Night. That [We] Mayest Observe To Do According To All That Is Written Therein: For Then [We] Shall Make [Our] Way Prosperous, And Then [We] Shall Have Good Sucess."...(Josh.1:8). Praise The Lord, Amen.
