Hebrews 1:14
Therefore, angels are only servants--spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.
Angels are God's messengers, spiritual beings created by God and under His authority ( Colossians 1:16 for through him God created everything In the heavenly realms and on earth.He made the things we can see and the things we can't see—Such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.Everything was created through him and for him. ) Angels have several functions throughout Scripture ; Serving believers ( as we see in this passage ), Protecting the helpless ( Matthew 18:10 “Beware that you don't look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father. ), Proclaiming God's messages ( Revelation 14:6-12 is one of many examples throughout Scripture ), and executing God's judgement (Acts 12:1-23 ; Revelation 20:1-3)
Angels, however, should never be worshiped. They are here to serve God and it is God alone that we must worship and adore.
Be thankful today that God loves you so much He sent His angels to watch over you.
Glorious Heavenly Father, we praise You and give You thanks for Your amazing gifts of love. Thank You for revealing to us through Scripture today the purpose for Your Angels. You are an Awesome God and we thank You for loving us so very much.
