Today's Scripture
Psalm 121
I look up to the mountains?BR> Does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth!
He will not let you stumble;
The one who watches over you will not slumber.
Indeed, he who watches over Israel
Never slumbers or sleeps.
The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
The sun will not harm you by day,
Nor the moon at night.
The Lord keeps you from all harm
And watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
Both now and forever.
This song expresses assurance and hope in God's protection day and night. He not only made the hills but heaven and earth as well. We should never trust a lesser power than God Himself. But not only is He All-Powerful and Creator of the universe, He also watches over us. Nothing diverts or deters Him. We are safe. We never outgrow our need for God's untiring watch over our life.
Lord God, we praise You and we thank You for always watching over us. We look around at the mountains, the tree's, the birds of the sky, and we are so grateful for all of Your wondrous creations. We love You Lord, and we thank You for being our Protector, our Savior, and Our Eternal God.
In Jesus' Name, Amen..
Have a great weekend friends !
Love in Christ,
