Today's Scripture
John 14:14
Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!
When Jesus says we can ask for anything, we must remember that our asking must be in His Name--that is according to God's character and will. God will not grant requests contrary to His Nature or His will. God will not allow us to use His Name as a magic formula whenever we want something! If we are sincerely following God and seeking to do HIs will, then our requests will be in line with what He wants for us and He will grant them in His Good and Perfect timing.
Heavenly Father, Creator and Sustainer of us all, we Praise You and we Thank You for this day.
Lord, we are so grateful that we have an Advocate -- Jesus Christ ! We Trust in You Lord and we know that when we pray in accordance to Your will, that You will answer us and grant us our request.Father, help us to clearly hear Your "yes's" as well as Your "no's"-- For You Alone, know what is best for each of us, far better then we know ourselves. May we give our lives and all we do and ask for completely to You. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen..
