Ashley's Today's Scripture
Jeremiah 31:3
Long ago the Lord said to Israel:
“I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
In this Scripture the Lord is telling us that He has loved us with a everlasting love ever since we were conceived and even before that. He also assures us that He loves us with an unfailing Love as well. The Lord really showed this to Israel in His book Exodus because he set the captives free and the slaves of Israel to be free. From the time Exodus was written to Jeremiah it was approximately 819 years, and God's love for them and His desire to show them never changed. God loves us like this as well. No matter what we've done, no matter how far away we may have felt, God has always loved you with an everlasting, unfailing love.
Dear Lord
Thank You for loving us with a everlasting love. Thank you for our lives and for blessing us with Your Word. Please help this week to be blessed. We praise You Lord.
