The Holy Spirit revealed in the Gospel of John   John wrote more about the Holy Spirit than the other gospel writers.  The Spirit is the gift of the Son of God to us.  Most of the teachings come in Jesus private conversations with His disciples.   John the Baptist testified that he saw the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus John 1:29-34.  John saw this as a sign that Jesus was the Son of God. v.34  He announced that Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit v.33   JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND TOMORROW REACHING FORTH TO  SO FULFILL THAT WHICH HE HAS THUS PROMISED   We learn that we are to be born again by water and by the Holy Spirit John 3:5-8 The Holy Spirit will thus lead us in true worship John 4:24 The Holy Spirit gives spiritual life John 6:63 Jesus gives the Holy Spirit to all believers John 7:38-39   The Greek word for the Holy Spirit means one called alongside being conveyed by the words Helper, Counselor and Comforter   The work of the Holy Spirit is to Guide into all truth John 16:13 To glorify Christ John 16:14 To give believers the power to witness John 15:26-27 To help His disciples remember the truths Jesus taught John 14:26 To convict people about their sin John 16:1-8   The Holy Spirit abides in believers John 14:17   Lord Jesus breath on us that we might receive the power of Your presence with the true fulfillment of all that You have promised   The gift of the Holy Spirit releases divine power that we might be a living witness of the Lord's presence   JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY WHEREIN WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE TRUTH AVAILABLE IN OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD WITH THE FATHER BESTOWING DIVINE INSIGHT THROUGH THE CREATIVE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT       Charlotte
