John 3:12 If I have told you of earthly, temporary things that happen right here on the earth and yet none of you believes Me, how can you believe (trust Me, adhere to Me, rely on Me) if I tell you of heavenly eternal things?
John 3:13 And yet no one has ever gone up to heaven, but there is One Who has come down from heaven--the Son of Man [Himself], {Who is (dwells, has His home) in heaven.}
John 3:14 And just as, in the same way,  Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert [on a pole], so must [so it is necessary that] the Son of Man be lifted up [on the cross],
John 3:15 In order that everyone who believes in Him [who cleaves to Him, trusts Him, and relies on Him] may {not perish, but} have eternal life {and} [actually] live forever!

Our laws today are written on soft disposable material and not stone to be thrown down and broken. When the people sinned they brought down the anger of God against them. Nothing changes that today. Just as in the days of Noah, just as in the days when God covered the earth with a flood, so who is to warn us of "our day" and God's anger and judgment? What happened when Moses raised up that pole? That same pole with the snake on it is the symbol for our medical profession. When Christ was lifted up on the cross His blood shed for our sins, God's love fulfilled the law of sin and death through the death of God's animal sacrifice, HIS SON JESUS.
Why do so many think they are either good or bad to enter heaven? Here, our minds are on the earthly, temporary things that happen right here as if it is a question of obeying all the right rules, requirements and laws. Christ fulfilled the law and we live under grace, not under the law. The letter of the law kills and the spirit gives life. God did this so no man could boast of his "own Ministry" and yet so many men exalt a man because of his position or background, when in all truth, his position should be beneath the cross of Jesus where no man can stand above any other.
 Moses lifted up the pole to protect and save and Jesus was lifted up to save us from eternal fulfillment of the letter of the law, not for...earthly, temporary things . Do not "kill" with the word of God.
Rom 14:3 Let not him who eats look down on {or} despise him who abstains, and let not him who abstains criticize {and} pass judgment on him who eats; for God has accepted {and} welcomed him.
Rom 14:4 Who are you to pass judgment on {and} censure another's household servant? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he shall stand {and} be upheld, for the Master (the Lord) is mighty to support him {and} make him stand.
Rom 14:5 One man esteems one day as better than another, while another man esteems all days alike [sacred]. Let everyone be fully convinced (satisfied) in his own mind.
Rom 14:6 He who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. He also who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; while he who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
Rom 14:7 None of us lives to himself [but to the Lord], and none of us dies to himself [but to the Lord, for]
Rom 14:8 "If we live, we live to the Lord," and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or we die, we belong to the Lord.
Rom 14:9 For Christ died and lived again for this very purpose, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.
Rom 14:10 Why do you criticize {and} pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you look down upon {or} despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God.
