Gal 1:6 I am surprised {and} astonished that you are so quickly turning renegade {and} deserting Him Who invited {and} called you by the grace (unmerited favor) of Christ (the Messiah) [and that you are transferring your allegiance] to a different [even an opposition] gospel.
Gal 1:7 Not that there is [or could be] any other [genuine Gospel], but there are [obviously] some who are troubling {and} disturbing {and} bewildering you [with a different kind of teaching which they offer as a gospel] and want to pervert {and} distort the Gospel of Christ (the Messiah) [into something which it absolutely is not].
Gal 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to {and} different from that which we preached to you, let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from {or} contrary to that which you received [from us], let him be accursed (anathema, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment)!
Gal 1:10 Now am I trying to win the favor of men, or of God? Do I seek to please men? If I were still seeking popularity with men, I should not be a bond servant of Christ (the Messiah).
You may not have a leather bound cover on you and glistening gold pages, but you are the living gospel of what ever "gospel" you have coming up out of your mouth from your spirit man. Out of the abundance of your heart your mouth speaks. Many times people including ministers will say to me things like, "can't you tone it down some so you don't offend people?" Can't you flex? If you tried to be more popular with people God would want to vomit you out of his mouth. Jesus called a snake a snake and I believe Paul did too. Why be wishy washy in "what gospel" you preach? Do you water down the power of it? Do you change the wording so it may be acceptable? Do you "add your own" so called prophetic meaning to the word of God either written or spoken out to make it sound like a personal letter as if you had some new personal insight to it? If you do, you are doomed for destruction according to the "gospel." Do you understand why people have lost the fear of God regarding "changing" how it is written? No matter what version of the Bible you happen to enjoy, the "writing" of all the different versions accepted in our world, has been "why" people think it is ok to change it. They even have a Bible with God being referred to now in the female gender. I read on the internet constantly the different gospel according to who ever exalted themselves above God to write it. The day of cults increasing and thriving in our country equal to homosexuality which is on the rise in children's lives in our country should cause us to know the gospel, be the gospel, know about what cults believe and be out there preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ so people know there is no other gospel then the one you first received.
