Eph 5:19 Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord,
Eph 5:20 At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

What ever happened to "whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are pure, of good report?" What ever happened to just listening to someone, being quiet and not offering them your religious head knowledge and judgements for their sharing?
After two years I opened up to someone for prayer only to have the woman tell me that in my present state even if I wanted to volunteer where she worked she could not feel right about having me but lets pray she said, then she actually prayed, Father God help the things that Jackie reads in the Bible go from her head to her heart... and I stopped her and told her, look, when someone needs comfort, when they need someone to care, when they are quiet and hoping for some love, they do not need after 56 years of reading the Bible and hiding it in my heart,,, of loving Jesus and loving people, I do not need someone to tear me down while they are praying for me.
I use this as a minor example of what I hear when I am around people who claim to be Christian but are full of very insensitive ways. Today there is so  much bashing among Christians, and so much division, I wish there was a place at the alter for all of us to repent of not walking in love.
On the internet it is vicious as I have observed in groups and in Christian chat rooms "in" groups even. There are these "not eye to eye" relationships where people ban, block, delete and of course all in the name of the Lord as they put titles of importance in their names like founder, pastor, etc.  Let us examine our walks and how we pray for folks. We are supposed to be there for each other, not to give head advice but to have compassion, mercy and gennuine unselfish love for each other; sometimes a hug and silence would be the best thing, but no pointing fingers.

(Pro 28:14) Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.
