The Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].
Col 3:14 And above all these [put on] love {and} enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony].
Col 3:15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
Harmony has always been number one in my home. The boys and I have had to move quite often and I make sure the pictures are hung, candles are lit, music is playing and peace is there in troubled times and in "turmoil situations."
We live in times of stress and trouble is on all sides. Right now my living room is piled high with my sons furniture and things because the boys and his Dad are moving them to a storage garage so I can begin to move myself. There are things the neighbors are coming to get, things I am loading up, things my other son is coming to get, and yet, I will still have the music on, the candles lit, the scent of cinnamon and apples in the air and above all, the rock hard peace of knowing we are so blessed to trust in God for all our needs. Today, if you are running to and fro, worrying about circumstances in life, remember that deep inside in your spirit you must hold to joy, peace, and remind yourself that God has a new plan for you, just as He has this rest for you to always be at peace in troubled times. I have a dear friend who constantly encourages me and tells me how special I am and that alone can carry you through rejection, through false accusations, and through any troubled time. Hold to the peace.
