Rom 8:26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid {and} bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer {nor} how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication {and} pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings {and} groanings too deep for utterance.
Rom 8:27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes {and} pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to {and} in harmony with God's will.
Often we get together to pray and we all are saying words from our spirit man, from our emotions and from the names on papers we have written lists of requests on.
Some pray prayers using big words hoping others will be impressed and sometimes we just don't know how to pray. It is so refreshingly peaceful to know that God's Holy Spirit knows how to pray in our behalf when we run out of words, when our strength fails us in grief and sorrow. Today, let Him search your entire being and pray in groanings we can not understand. The Holy] Spirit comes to our aid {and} bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer. Thank God for His Holy Spirit living inside of us.
