WITHOUT LIMITATION - John 3:31-36
"The one who comes from above is above all; the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."
Have you ever thought about the fact that everything and everyone has limitations -- except Jesus? Your life is limited by your body's ability to sustain life. Your job is limited by many things... your abilities, your boss, your co-workers, the economy, your family responsibilities, your energy level. Your abilities are limited. The laws of nature are limited. EVERYTHING has its limits. But Jesus is limitless... hard to grasp, isn't it?
Jesus?love for you is unlimited. His energy is unlimited. His power is unlimited. His grace is unlimited. And so are His concern, His intelligence, His judgment, His faithfulness, His very being.
Every day, we are faced with problems, some of which seem insurmountable. In fact, for us, they ARE insurmountable. But for Jesus, they are not. There is no problem too big for Him to solve. There is no worry so great that He cannot give you peace. There is no situation too complicated for Him to sort it out. There is absolutely nothing He cannot do.
And the sweetest thing about it is... He shares this infinite ability with you and with me through the power of the Cross. All we have to do is believe. All we have to do is ask within His will. All we have to do is give Him the glory.
If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11
