Ps 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving {and} a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful {and} say so to Him, bless {and} affectionately praise His name!
Ps 100:5 For the Lord is good; His mercy {and} loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness {and} truth endure to all generations.
Ps 101:1 I WILL sing of mercy {and} loving-kindness and justice; to You, O Lord, will I sing.
Ps 101:2 I will behave myself wisely {and} give heed to the blameless way--O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house in integrity {and} with a blameless heart.
Ps 101:3 I will set no base {or} wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of them who turn aside [from the right path]; it shall not grasp hold of me.
Ps 101:4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil person {or} thing.
Ps 101:5 Whoso privily slanders his neighbor, him will I cut off [from me]; he who has a haughty look and a proud {and} arrogant heart I cannot {and} I will not tolerate.
Ps 101:6 My eyes shall [look with favor] upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks blamelessly, he shall minister to me.
Ps 101:7 He who works deceit shall not dwell in my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence.

Sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner with "family" who just can not be at peace with each other, is sometimes a dividing experience. It is hard to swallow food when there is no peace. There is a base truth many do not put into practice...Cutting off from your life anyone who is negative speaking, tearing you down, and constantly gossiping, slandering, and causing you to lose your hope and your direction God is leading you in.  Even if it is family, a confrontation needs to take place for you to make your stand. After fifty years one day, I told my sister not to call me dummy anymore. It might seem very trite but it was important to me to say it. We can exist in someone's shadow and never really blossom into "who" God wants us to be, if we do not take some stands for ourselves to live a peaceful life. I would rather sit in a attic alone and eat a crust of bread I found... in peace, then sit at a table with the wealthy who will remind you of how they fed you over and over again; questioning you if you are even trying to find work. When do we walk free, and when do we walk in love? People who have haughty looks, arrogent hearts, puffed up prideful boasting mouths, I can not even be in the room with without the Spirit of the Lord prompting me to get far from them. I hate the work of them who not only turn aside from the right path, but they would try to rubber stamp other people with their pressure to line up and conform to their religious pius ways. You might say, "how can I even think of myself as having a blameless heart?" Fill your heart with thanksgiving, praise, and exalt God in all you do. Bless His Holy name and conform your flesh to be constantly filled with the peace of Jesus and His word dwelling in you. Remove far from you anything that contaminates both body and spirit man, and hold fast to your faith. God never took away your personality when you came to Him or I would not be such a clown as I am. Do not let anyones ways "grasp ahold" of you, and when you think being a Christian is always being this sweet nice guy? Forget that or you will line up with the rest of them on that day. Conform to who God created you to be.
