In every aspect of existance there is way too much compromise. No one seems to think it is a strength of character to be cut and dry truthful, and to stand with unwaivering integrity for your principals, morality, and whole desire to be "in right standing" with God as your father. Women today in the past twenty years have become disrespectful, arrogent and men have forgotten that it was God who had wanted women to be subjective to them primarilly because women are nurturers and make decisions rashly according to their emotions and manipulation. As women begin now to take over leadership positions, and men do not see that the strong man has been bound and his house robbed, many men have retreated to life styles which are quiet, uninvolved, and have given over to their wives only because they got tired of the contention. The word righteous we often think of when we hear "self righteous," or "righteous indignation." In the dictionary there are many words that "try" to define the word righteousness. We hear the scripture that says, "the prayer of the righteous availeth much." The dictionary definition mentions guiltless which we know is not true even under our present grace given life. Moral, sound, upright, really there are no words that fit that word regarding our surrendered lives to Holiness. Clean handed, one dictionary says. Except your righteousness exceeds that of the pharisees, Jesus said....and Seek ye first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness, and all these things shall be given unto you. Mercy, loving kindess, uprightness and understanding with God, and honor. The key to understanding the "end" of the above characteristics is to "crave and earnestly seek to be in "right standing" with God, and to not compromise your stand but determine to do it with all your heart mind, soul, and strength of your might. Crave righteousness for without Holiness no man shall see God.
