"JudahJudah"

1 Sam 2:25 If one man wrongs another, God will mediate for him; but if a man wrongs the Lord, who shall intercede for him? Yet they did not listen to their father, for it was the Lord's will to slay them.
1 Sam 2:26 Now the boy Samuel grew and was in favor both with the Lord and with men.
1 Sam 2:27 A man of God came to Eli and said to him, Thus has the Lord said: I plainly revealed Myself to the house of your father [forefather Aaron] when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh's house.
1 Sam 2:28 Moreover, I selected him out of all the tribes of Israel to be My priest, to offer on My altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before Me. And I gave [from then on] to the house of your father [forefather] all the offerings of the Israelites made by fire.
1 Sam 2:29 Why then do you kick [trample upon, treat with contempt] My sacrifice and My offering which I commanded, and honor your sons above Me by fattening yourselves upon the choicest part of every offering of My people Israel?
1 Sam 2:30 Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, says, I did promise that your house and that of your father [forefather Aaron] should go in and out before Me forever. But now the Lord says, Be it far from Me. For those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

If a mere man or woman speaks out the words; "thus saith the Lord your God" they better "know" and understand the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and to have a glimpse of God's glory, a knowledge of His wrath and greatness, a sensitivity to His reverential "presence and moving" and a comprehension, and discernment of His HOLINESS and the honor due HIS sovereign will to be done as His word is fulfilled. That is a mouth ful I know... I wrote it and I will have to read it again now that I typed it.  See God reveals HIS ways to the simple, to those who honor Him. His acts He reveals to those who stand afar off, or the proud as the word of God says, God knows them "afar off." In this scripture above, the word of God says that those people who "dispise" God, are "lightly esteemed." You may ask why does God even esteem those who dispise Him and yet the so called "Christians" of today are so busy trashing someone and being used by the enemy to separate them from the body of Christ by their harsh accusations of "not really being a Christian." I hear some say, "well I am more spiritual than they are, I do not think they are a real Christian?" Why do we think we have a clue in this area when God "still" sees and esteems those who dispise HIM? If God still knows the proud, but "afar off" we should stop all the judging of matters that God leaves up to us to deal with one at a time as the HOly Spirit reveals them to us. I have seen humble repentent people who smell like cigarettes when they come to the alter and every week until they quit coming anymore, people in the congregation tell them they are not a Christian if they smoke. Judgment begins "at the house of God" not with the wicked who are filling up the vial of God's wrath.  God used a child, separated from his Mom and Dad, to minister truth in this scripture, to Eli the priest whose sons were wicked and did not fear the Lord. It is the Lord's will to destroy the flesh sometimes to deal with the contamination to  His temple and in today's world if we read words like those above about Eli's sons, we say, oh a good loving God would not do that. Yes He will do HIS will and part of that truth is found in His mercy. This is long and I normally do not share my personal words on here, but this morning the Holy Spirit nudged me with the words, "Cover it with mercy" and instructed me to lay down on my bed and write what He gave me. It turns out to be a song, however the words, cover? Some folks think of mercy as being kind, doing acts of mercy to the poor, but for God's mercy we are not all consumed. That unmerited, undeserved grace love that is ours if we do not esteem Him a far off like the prophets of Elijah. They stood afar off watching as Elisha ran after Elijah. God will expose what HE wills, and cover what HE wills, He will honor who HE wills, know the proud a far off, and esteem "lightly" those who dispise Him. He will vindicate according to the amount of integrity in your heart and judge according to the purposes of your heart. The sad thing is.... It all depends on "your obedience, not trying to reason everything out, and being willing to stop driving people away from even comprehending what mercy is...."IT" triumphs over judgment or God would not say in this scripture that HE esteems the wicked at all, so how can we?
