Mic 4:12 But they know not the thoughts of the Lord, neither do they understand His plan, for He shall gather them as the sheaves to the threshing floor.
Mic 4:13 Arise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion! For I will make your horn iron and I will make your hoofs bronze; you shall beat in pieces many peoples, and I will devote their gain to the Lord and their treasure to the Lord of all the earth.
Mic 5:1 NOW GATHER yourself in troops, O daughter of troops; a state of siege has been placed against us. They shall smite the ruler of Israel with a rod (a scepter) on the cheek.
Mic 5:2 But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, you are little to be among the clans of Judah; [yet] out of you shall One come forth for Me Who is to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old, from ancient days (eternity).
Mic 5:3 Therefore shall He give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth; then what is left of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel.
Mic 5:4 And He shall stand and feed His flock in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord His God; and they shall dwell [secure], for then shall He be great [even] to the ends of the earth.
Mic 5:5 And this [One] shall be our peace.
Jesus Christ, the anointed one, is the word that became flesh and dwelt among us. We did not esteem Him highly and His only robe and crown were those of pain and mocking. Bethlehem, a small city, Mary, a young virgin girl, and those thought little of, being the first to hear the news. People did not let shepherds stay in the city because they smelled so bad, and yet sitting on the hills, the angels of Heaven sang out the news, Unto you is born this day in the city of David, a savior which is Christ the Lord. Jesus came a helpless baby who the king tried to kill. God protected Him and Jesus grew up to say to all of us the truth about peace and the way to the Father. Jesus said except you become "as a little child"  you can not enter the kingdom of Heaven. Many have hardened their hearts to the truth of a trusting child. Purity and innocense has been stripped from children, peace has been left behind as the world has taken over with its fast paced stressful competitive power hungry lifestyles. Jesus is not just a manger scene we put out once a year. Jesus is our peace who has broken down every wall. He gives us a peace not as the world gives, HIS peace HE leaves with us,,,and HE says, for us to "let" the peace of God rule and reign over our hearts and minds in Him. Peace is to rule over your own will, desires, and life choices. Many only go to church on Christmas for a child's program. If there is no peace on your earth, Jesus has left it here for all who would receive Him past the manger bed, through the cross, and at the Father's throne.
