God Today Devotions November 4, 2008 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:12
Our paradigm changes quickly the moment we have children. It is difficult to imagine life before they arrived. They not only consume our time but our hearts. We spend a lifetime nurturing, comforting, teaching and protecting them. We face each new day armed with love, band-aids, and plenty of understanding. Although at times they disappoint us they are never without our love. God sees us all through the same eyes of love as a parent. We are His children. There is nothing good that He will keep from us. He guides us, protects us, teaches us and loves us. When we are hurt or in need we can run into His loving arms and be assured He will pick us up and care for us. There is no trouble we can find that is greater than His wisdom. We can always count on His love and strength to get us through.
Prayer
Thank you for being the perfect Father. You are always there; nothing can separate us from your love. We look to you for help, guidance, wisdom, and acceptance. You are our hope, joy, and strength. You are our all. Thank you! Amen. type=text/javascript></SCRIPT> src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js" type=text/javascript>
