Taste The Extreme Grace Of God
If you feel like you're walking through life's darkest hour
and the struggle is as hard as can be,
Keep walking dear friend...for your King is beside you
though the darkness is all you can see.
Though you may be baffled at the circumstances you're in
remember God is never one bit surprised.
For the span of your lifetime from beginning to end
is laid out before the Father's own eyes.
Your human nature may cause you to resist
and say you don't want this trial at all.
Yet, remember walking through it brings spiritual refinement
for wisdom comes during life's hardest falls.
The things you will learn in the coldness of the valley
are only gathered at the depths of the earth.
For there in the dampness are treasures from your God
and their value's of indescribable worth.
So, press on like a pilgrim through this uncharted land
...let faith in Him be your compass and guide.
When you're weak...take a rest in the sovereignty of God
who has promised to walk by your side.
Drink daily from the cup of mercy Christ will give you
finding strength for each mile you must trod.
For when life becomes extreme, with its heartaches & trials
....you will taste the extreme grace of God.
