Take Time
When the tempest rages wildly, Encompassing my ears, And the forces threaten victory, Alarming all my fears ...
When the storm would last forever, No rainbow ever could appear, I close my eyes and hold my breath And, still, I feel Him near! When the morning breaks in splendor, When there’s a song within my heart, And my spirit’s high as Heaven E’en before the day can start ... Then, I pause, for just a moment, While I’m "basking in the sun" And discover, very quietly, The presence of God’s Son.
Friend, when troubles threaten failure Or when it’s a hum-drum day, When morning sun surrounds you As you start upon your way ...
Look for Jesus! He’ll be waiting And, I’ve found it always true, If you take the time for Jesus, Always, He has time for you!
