The Master's Hands

The same hands that bless you...break you.

Matthew 14:15-21

Bring them here to me," he said.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish
And looking up to heaven,
He gave thanks and broke the loaves.
Then he gave them to the disciples,
And the disciples gave them to the people.
They all ate and were satisfied ..."

When the little that we have
Is brought to the Master (given to Him,
Blessed by Him, broken by Him),
Our little, then, becomes more than enough
And is able to sustain and satisfy those in need.

Lord, I've presented myself to you,
Given to you all that I have, all that I am,
And you've blessed me so abundantly Lord,
Far beyond my wildest dreams.

And now the breakings begun ...
Oh, Lord! The breaking;
Help me never to resist the breaking.
