Keep Thinking Of The Day
To the tired, weary soldiers in the army of the Lord
who've been toiling though the hour is long.
Keep working in the field where the Master has placed you
be courageous...stand upright & strong.
Fix your eyes on the prize...the King who saved you
and know your efforts will not be in vain.
Keep walking straight ahead, serving Him faithfully
though the pathway may be marked with pain.
Gather perseverance from the hand of the Lord
when you think you can take it no more.
Look beyond the mortal, fleeting things of life
to the eternal and what lies in store.
Be sure of the truths He has laid out before you
for they're as mighty as they were in the past.
And cling to the ageless, pure Word of God
for it's eternal and always will last.
Press forward in the power of the Spirit each day
for He's more awesome than all of your fears.
And He will give encouragement when you need it most
and your harvest is sown among tears.
Keep working for the glory of the Kingdom of God
because His grace will make the victory sweet.
And keep thinking of the Day when you receive your crowns
then you turn to lay them all at His feet.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race,
I have kept the faith.
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will give to me on that Day,
and not to me only but also to all who have loved
His appearing.
