Oh watchman, wait for the morning, oh watchman, rise up and pray. If you shake off your slumber, perhaps the God of all judgment will show mercy still. Oh watchman, rise up early, when stillness is the day. Watchman, rise up early, and to your Father pray. The cup of God's wrath is full now, and soon coming is our King. 

Watchman, wake up early, and with a cry of intercession "bring." Down from the Heavenly portals, through the clouds of gray; comes the Father's mercy, "new" for every day. Oh watchman, pray for wisdom as you pray for God's mercy and grace; to be increased in this "day" of God's judgment, when we soon shall see His face. Shake off from you thy slumber, and strengthen what remains. 

Pray while the day is dawning, with love that is unfeigned. Watchman of the third watch, rise up while it is day, hide thyself in secret, rise up my child and pray, rise up while it is day.
