Are You Ready? Are You Prepared?
What will you say? What will you do?
When the enemy, the devil comes at you
Will you accept from the father of lies?
Will you believe the devil and all his lies?
Are you ready? Are you prepared?
Are you fully armed and ready to declare?
Will you keep walking in truth with faith?
Will you be able to stand firm in the faith?
Do you know God has given you authority?
Authority to trample on the head of your enemy?
The enemy wants you to hear what he has to say
Will you be prepared for battle on that day?
Are you ready? Are you prepared?
Do you know God's Word, or are you scared?
God says to be strong in Him and His power
To stand against the schemes of the devourer
He says do not be afraid or be dismayed
But to stand on His Word and don't be swayed
For mightier is he who lives inside of you
Than any enemy who tries to come against you
Ephesians 6:10-18 and 1 peter 5:8-11
The devil came to Jesus in the wilderness to tempt Him. But Jesus was ready and prepared to stand His ground and stand firm in God's Word and what God said. He knew the devil was a liar and he still is a liar.
When i was a new Christian I didn't know enough of God's Word to be prepared to do battle against the devil. When he launched his attack against me,l which was almost immediately, I called a woman that went to the same church I went to. I knew she was prepared and she prayed with me. The devils lies on that issue was over. I know I can take authority in the name of Jesus and the devil will have to flee.
Reading the Bible is so important. The more we read it the more we will get it into our heart. The holy Spirit reminds us of God's words to speak when the enemy comes to speak his lies to us. Even in times of danger I have learned I can just speak the name "JESUS" and he is right there with me.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all. Love Nadean Woodcock
