Last week I was at our monthly GFM (Gospel Faith Messenger) training day meeting which is a combined Churches meeting that is run by Pastor Rodney Frances who is the founder and director of GFM. A wonderful ministry with many many years of work in the Lord behind him.
The theme of this meeting was focussed on healing and lo and behold I was finally called by the Lord to have my back healed! After all these years of living with a really really bad back and in my profession however the Lord is Great and His mercies are new every day and there is nothing that we cannot do with the Lord as our Help.
I couldn't believe it as I hadn't gone to the meeting even considering my spine as I have lived with it for so long and have prayed and prayed and prayed that the Lord would heal my spine. Many a Dr has wanted to carve me up for various ailments including my spine but still I waited for my Lord to call and He did. Refusing treatment after treatment as in operations because I knew in my heart of hearts that ONLY GOD can truly heal these conditions and not mankind and I have always believed in my heart that God was watching over my spine.
Aside from that I go to these meetings purely as a learning so go with the attitude of sitting, listening, obeying, observing, and trusting in my Lord to sharpen me in the area of the prophetic ministry little realising that I have on occassion been the centre of work that the Lord is teaching on as others step up in faith believing that God has a word of knowledge etc for someone. Nothing like being an example for others to learn and I just so love it. God is so wonderful.
It was interesting in that when this chap stepped up in faith saying that he believed that someone in the meeting had a back problem which I didn't take much notice of thinking that oh it will be for someone else and as he started saying certain things about the state of this persons back there was a welling up in my spirit all though looking around to see if any one else would have the same symptoms with this back.
However it seemed that there was no one else who had this back problem as he described the symptoms that I have experienced for many years and up went my hand. I knew it was me. Although another person stepped forward also the symptoms that he had were not as distinct and direct as the ones that this chap was saying and how this affected the would be person which were very specific right down to the pain I experience in my very toes from the areas affected in my spine. So I was up in a shot for my healing.
I couldn't believe it finally the Lord had called and I was just so honoured. My back now has a strength about it that is amazingly strong and although there is still pain it is different. Something has changed and I know that I am healed. God is so awesome and the message that I just want to share is never give up on the Lord as I have had this back problem from when I was a child after falling from a height onto rocks right on my lower back and I remember the fall to this very day.
However this didn't really start affecting me until I was 15 yrs of age. I am now 44 and I have had the most painful experiences that I don't ever want to experience again with my spine but the Lord is so gracious and ever merciful and I will not allow man to touch which I know that they cannot heal.
Double blessing just recently my eyes have been playing up as well and after going forward for my healing my eye sight was so much sharper and very clear which says a lot given that as of lately I have a tendency to see 2 Pastors preaching at the pulpit and not one. Seriously. Not good, long range vision going a tad blurry and now as clear as a bell and I can see a whole lot more clearer from a distance.
It is just so wonderful just knowing that this God of ours can truly heal if we would but wait upon Him trust in Him for everything and believe that He can do anything He so desires. After all He created the human body and therefore should know only too well what needs to happen and that only He can restore us to the glory that He has created us to be in Him.
Be patient. If God can sustain me with a severe back problem and call me after 40 yrs of knowing that my spine had deteriorated to the point of Osteo-arthritis, very little disc in my lower back which was also fusing and not to mention the fact that one wrong move or manipulation by a Chiropractor, sudden jolt, severe fall could have killed me than He can call you also.
So be encouraged He is a Great God and can do what ever He says He can do at any time and any where. After all He is the Creator and we His created beings and He just loves and cares for us so much and we don't even know it.
How great is the Love of the Father for His children and He wants to heal you today. He knows every intricate detail of our entire being that He moulded and crafted by the Word of His mouth. So please trust Him as I have trusted Him for all these years with my spine. He has never let me down and He will never let you down too. God Heals man can not so please trust Him with all that is within You! Be blessed for you are a blessing indeed in the eyes of the Lord!
"Its not by might nor power but by My Spirit says the Lord" !
