"The Gospel Faith Messenger" Ministry

Prayer Support Letter

Rodney & Jean Francis

December 2006

Another year has almost passed by. As we look back over it we can only rejoice in all that has been accomplished. So many people have been ministered to and many doors have opened to The GFM Ministry. Letters and e-mails continually are received telling of the ongoing blessings of the Lord in peoples lives. Some of these mails are from events that happened more than 10 years ago ~ and the word is still being fruitful! When we can hear and deliver "the Word of the Lord" motivated and ministered in the love of God then there has to be a fruitful harvest. God’s Word does not return to Him empty or without fruit (Isaiah 55:11-13).

After 46 years of Christian Ministry this has got to be the greatest day of opportunity for the Gospel to be made known, especially when we are ministering with the "Christians tools of the trade," which are Spiritual Gifts (1 Corinthians 12-14). The Holy Spirit is so good at revealing the needs and the hearts of people, regardless of their color, race or creed. He is bigger than all those things! All the Lord needs is a willing and available Christian to listen and obey whatever He says (John 2:5). That includes you! And that includes me! Be one who listens to the voice of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, then know that His voice is the voice of truth, and that voice is right. We only discover the rightness of that voice after we have obeyed it!

Jean and I, and all The GFM Team want to impart to you the true blessings of Jesus this Christmas Season. May we all be very challenged to put Christ back into Christmas and let the world see and know that it is not about "a fat man in red clothing" (Santa Claus) ?but about Jesus their only Lord and Saviour Who longs to save them if they will only believe on Him! We pray you will all have a very blessed and peaceful Christmas, and be refreshed in the Holy Spirit for the best year ever in your lives! We love you ~ and we do so appreciate your ongoing prayer and financial support of this Ministry.

Report from The GFM Greymouth Conference: We have just hosted Rodney, Kerry and Len for the weekend. We had a conference on "Curses and Healing". Approx. 40 people attended it. We had a fantastic time. Many People were touched by the prophetic input and the encouragement. Personally I received a number of confirmations that I have been asking the Lord for; one was in the small groups and another was just in a conversation with Len. So thanks, Len, for being a vessel of honor that the Lord speaks through, even when we don’t know it. Kerry was very encouraging with his message and worship. Over the weekend we all realized that there are a number of people that the Lord has chosen to bring change to the church: Rodney, Len and Kerry are such people so we are very privileged to sit under their ministry. Our church is better off because of it. Also, the other thing that touched me was the number of people who have been around the Pentecostal movement for literally years that attended the Conference, hungry for more of the Holy Spirit ministry. I am convinced the Lord is stirring our hearts again to return to Him in and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks again to the Team that came. We had a fantastic weekend with you guys ~ thanks for making the effort and coming down. God bless you all and keep up the good work ~ Peter Ridling (Pastor, Greymouth Elim Church, NZ).

Just dropping you a note to tell you how blessed we were at the weekend conference. We learnt a lot about ministering in humility and love, and the prophetic time in the afternoon was as much of a blessing as you said it would be. We came looking to God for a Word for our lives as we felt God was speaking to us and we needed confirmation. Len, who led our group was so accurate and so released us to wait on God. We were so grateful for the compassion and sensitivity of his ministry. You have a great team around you. Your love for people and the word inspire me. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the lord make His face shine upon you. May the Lord be gracious to you ~ and give you peace. Many blessings on you and your family ~ Diane Botherway (Christchurch, NZ).

Report from "Lifepoint" Church, Marsden Point, NZ: This is the third time we have had a Team from The GFM come to minister to us here at Lifepoint. The team covered the Biblical teachings of how God still speaks to us today through other people with prophecy and words of knowledge. Those who had not been to a GFM meeting were all ministered to with an encouraging word directly from our living and dynamic God who knows us all intimately. A large portion of the weekend was dedicated to the gift of healing and its impartation. This resulted in many of our people being prayed for and the gift of impartation released into them. So watch this space! We are expecting miracles to happen in our community as a result. Also many people received baptism in the Holy Spirit or a refresher "top up". It's great to see people being set free with the fullness of power that the Holy Spirit has to offer each of us as we step into the plans and purposes that God has for each of us. Ministry is for every Christian believer and not just those up the front. Kerry Wright ministered to us, along with Biblical teaching on music and prophetic ministry. I know God touched me with a massive burden for the lost in our community through this time, so thank you Kerry. On Sunday we set up the church differently with half of the congregation facing the other half, with Holy Communion set in the middle as a focal point that connects us together in unity through Jesus Christ. Breaking into small groups we shared Communion together and ministered to each other with prayer, words of knowledge, prophecy, and prayers for healing. As a whole we had a wonderful weekend with many people being touched and released to be Christ to our world. Thanks GFM, and may our God continue to bless each of you in your ministry ~ Simon Currie (Pastor of Lifepoint).

c.. For a greater loving and compassionate heart to be stirred in the Christians for the evangelizing of the unsaved in 2007 and beyond.

d.. For the several thousands who are currently answering The GFM Bible Correspondence Courses. Testimonies from "St. John’s Gospel" Course: "Many thanks and blessings on you for these Lessons. God's Word has set me free once again from the spirit of condemnation, which I had subtly let entangle me. Life is good when ‘His Word is a lamp to our path and a light to our feet? ~ Dorothy Ansley (New Zealand). "These questions were special to me. Especially to find out how hard and stubborn the Pharisees were in their persecution of Jesus, even though He was telling the truth. To find out that ‘a fools wrath is heavier than both stone and sand?(Proverbs 27:3) gave me sound food for thought. Thanks very much" ~ Mbithi Mutiso (Kenya). "Lesson 8 was really special, as it revealed so much more to me than I had seen previously" ~ Rebecca Ellary (New Zealand).

Be encouraged as you pray for us in The Gospel Faith Messenger Ministry. We value your ongoing prayer support very much and we continually thank God for those who uphold us in this way. Your prayers are being answered, for we do see the hand of the Lord at work touching many peoples lives through this International Ministry. We desire to see many more won to Jesus Christ with a commitment to do His will, whatever that takes. THANK YOU SO MUCH to every one of you who do pray for us!

We leave you with these challenging thoughts: "We are so blessed today to have the revelation of God that we do have. Yet, unless we absorb it into the very core of our being, it really is redundant. For God, in essence, is all about relationship ~ Relationship with the Father, with Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. All the knowledge in the world is of no heavenly use unless it results in us becoming more like Jesus"! ~ David Tait (Hastings, New Zealand).
