Well my friends, I am off to bed. But first wanted to drop in and give you the latest Turkey update.
We where at a meeting at the church tonight.
I had not heard anything from the travel agent all day so I expected maybe tomorrow.
When we got home this evening, there was an email from him.
He informed me that 2 more people dropped out, so we went down to six. So the Turkey extension has been cancelled as of this evening.
I was saddened by this news, and did admittedly shed some tears on Jason's shoulder. But I am going to be okay ![]()
First thing Jason said was , "Next time April ! There will be a next time !" He was disappointed too for me, but at the same time, happy to have me home earlier than planned !
Ashley cried as she knew how much I was looking forward to the "way of Paul" in Turkey. She said , "But mom, you love Paul " and just cried and cried. It was so sweet. I reassured her that I was okay with whatever God had planned. And after all, I still get to go do the best part of all and that is Israel !!!!
So I wanted to say THANK YOU all for your prayers !!
Just because we are not going to Turkey, does not mean God didn't answer them ! Thank you all so much for being such great , supportive, prayerful friends. That means so much to me.
So may I ask that you all continue to pray for the Israel trip in May ?
I will be gone May 16th to the 28th (only 67 days !!) woohoo
Just prayers for a safe trip and also that there will be peace in the middle east. I know Israel will not let in tourists if there is any disorder. And with their election and all, the prayers are needed for the Holy Land.

I am off to bed. Long day of 2 doctors visits, and a few tests.
