I am feeling sad tonight, because a friend of mine from my old church, and who should be going with us to a womens weekend away, or retreat as some of you say , at the end of this month, has had her grandson age 3 drown in a swimming pool in Spain where he went to live recently with his mom and dad, I know little Jake from the playgroup where I helped out, He was lovely. And know his mom who use to help out first thing in the morning in the playgroup, It's going to be so hard as to what to say to my friend Joan. My heart is going out to all the family, They are such a lovely family. Please pray for all of them. Chrissie

Lord Jesus amidst this deep loss

I ask that You release the presence

of the Holy Spirit to bring

comfort and eternal insight

May peace surround the parents

and the grandmother

with the treasures of Your word

being released bringing hope

to thereby sustain and nurture them

Touch Chrissie and anyone feeling this loss

dear Jesus with the aroma of hope

that is available in knowing you

in a personal and ongoing way
