The update is that Katie lost one leg and part of her pelvis, but she is alive in Serious but stable condition at a hospital in Seattle. She and her family will need our prayers and God's blessings for a long recuperation period. She is on a ventilator, and being kept sedate so she won't move too much. Her precious Mother is at her bedside. The rest of the family is taking care of necessities and hopefully will be able to join her tonight. Her brother lives in Tacoma and is with her at the hospital another blessing is that he is a pediatric surgeon so can keep her educated and stay on top of what is going on with Katie.
