Subject: Prayer Request
I have a prayer request for my best friends brother for his two daughters. Sammee 1 in a half years old and Meghan 4 years old.
Over the weekend on Sat.17 Sammee started to have seizers and was taken by helicopter to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Her heart rate dropped to 13 and they called a code blue. They were able to revive her before they had to use the paddles (defibrillator). She had a spinal tap done and the fluid was clear. Monday they did a MRI and an EEG. Both had good results. The doctors cannot find the problem. This is the second time that she’s been to the Hospital and they couldn’t pinpoint the problem. She’s also been having diarrhea. She was sent home today (the 20th). Altogether since she was taken to the hospital she had 10 seizures. One of them was really bad. My friend thinks that it could be something in her diet.
Meghan since she was 2 years old has diabetes. She’s dependent on insulin. Her pancreas doesn’t work at all so she’s fully reliant on the insulin. She has to have a minimum of six pokes with needles every day.
So, I’m asking to keep these two girls in prayer. Also keep there Mom and Dad (Nick and Bonnie) in prayer also. Thanks.
