I am a born again Child of God since I was 7.

I am a mother of 3. Both daughters are married. Our son is in College. Grandmother of 5 children.

I have two sets of parents my biological parents and my foster parents.

Thanks to my foster parents and my current husband (over 20 years) I have learned what a christian home should be like.

I have had 3 poems published. I pray in time to be a Christian writer for young children.

I began my website Do You Believe, in MSN My Groups to fullfill a promise I made to my Lord when I was a teen (70's). I back slid and have reasked the Lord to forgive me and thanked him for never giving up on me.

In 2004 I was placed in ICU with pancreatitus. After 2 years of in out of the hospital with near death experience 2 may be 3 times. I now have diabetes. Due to all my questions on Diabetes and no answers I have begun a website for diabetes with hopes to help others and help myself learn more.

I am a grandmother of 8 and we are raising our only 2 granddaughters.

I love making new friends and sharing the word of our Lord.

We live about 45 minutes from the Great Smokies in the country.

I found this group via Lady Anna' group StillWaters, by chance as I was wondering around the site and clicked into here. I am a RegisteredNurse and Alcohol and Drug Counsellor. My primary work is in Mental Health which I have been doing for almost 20yrs called by the Lord into this field. Mental health and addiction are my 2 primary passions in working with people. A burden from the Lord I guess you could say and I feel very privileged to be working in this area. The Lord sustains me and I give Him all the glory for all things in my life. He is my Provider.

He is a Great God a Merciful God the One True God in whom I have learnt that He is forever with us to the end.

I enjoy learning and have such a hunger for the Lord in my life and to see His Kingdom come in the lives of ALL mankind. I can't seem to get enough of the Lord in my life.

Truthfully speaking I can't wait to go home to be with my Lord however there is much to do. So on that note to the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was save 26 years ago and back slid more times than I could could count. Four years ago. I found a group on yahoo that really mademe think and rededicate my life and I have been rooted and grounded every since. I have since become an Evangelist and right now I have a women's christian group for women who are struggling on yahoo. I love to teach and lead. The Lord said that He would make me fisher of men and I have and continue to cast my nets to catch all of the Lord's lost children. I love to pray. I love to spend time in the Lord's presence. His love and His tender mercies is what has kept me on His path to righteousness.

AN ADAPTATION OF THE TWELVE STEPS

1.We admitted we were powerless - that our lives had become unmanageable.

2.Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3.Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

4.Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

5.Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

6.Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

7.Humbly asked him to remove our shortcomings.

8.Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

9.Made direct amends to such people wherever possible except when to do so would injure them or others.

10.Continued to take personal inventory and when we were

wrong promptly admitted it.

11.Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our

conscious contact with God as we understood him, praying only for knowledge of his will for us, and the power to carry that out.

12.Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

I drifted away from God in my teenage years, now in my 60's I'm looking to find him again.

i have a street ministry and work with the homeless feeding and clothing them and helping some familys with food & gas & cloths when i can i do most of this on my own and really need help in prayer for more people to donate to help feed the hungry so please pray God will send me financial help please keep me in prayer i know God will provide all thats needed and i believe God still does miracles today because i'm a liveing testimony to thats. I am 21 years old and was married to an amazing man on 3-3-07! I am growing more than ever in Christ in this time of my life and I feel this strong resistance in my life for studing the word. I feel everytime I open the Bible I have a hard time reading, understanding, and I am so distracted. I really need a group of people to keep me accountable and to keep me in the word everyday. I know that I will not grow with out my dialy bread and I need all the enouragement I can get!

I'm a graduate of Philadelphia Biblical University with a Diploma in Biblical Studies.(Doctrine&Theology) I am now persuing a Bachelor of Arts in Pastorial Studies. I live with my wife of 14 years. I am a licensed and ordained minister and former Asso. Pastor .

I am a heavy equipment operator in northern Alberta. Just want a Christian group to hang out with and discuss the Bible with. I belive the Bible is without error.

What a life I've had since I met Him! I met Jesus 40 years ago and then went my own way.........it wasn't good for Him or me. Now we have been together for several years............and we keep working together to stay in touch-the word in The Bible keeps us very close to each other. I have been in Michigan since July of '66. I married my first husband and moved here with him. We had 3 beautiful children together. He passed away in 1991. I married my high school sweetheart in 1995. We had not seen each other for about 30 years when we were reunited. It was love at first glance, again!!!. We attend a little Missionary Baptist Church in Troy, MI. I sing solos there and am so thankful God has given me a talent in that area.

My oldest sister, who lives in VA, was telling me about a song "He'll Roll Me Over The Tide" and I am looking for the music for that. If anyone knows where I can obtain it I would be very grateful. I did find the words in your Hymns & Songs section and would love to have the music for it as well.

I just turned 56 August 29 and have been spiritually renewed for about 40plus years now. I have been a servant of theLord for just about that same amount of time as I felt a calling on my life soon after being spiritually renewed and even before I knew the Biblical facts of a "calling!"

Like most people I have had my "ups and downs" but through it all I have matured past just "believing" into the KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. I love the intimate relationship possible with a loving Redeemer and the fact that each and every day is a totally new day in which to strive to KNOW Him even more! I long for the day that the Apostle Paul talks about:

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

I love the Lord's children, my true brothers and sisters in the Lord, but I also love those that are lost just as our Father in Heaven loves those wayward children and I long that all should come to know the Lord but I also understand that there are those who will perish even as the Lord continues to love them. This brings tears to my eyes and a heavy heart but it makes me to realize that time is of the essence for eternity is very close to all of us and time as we know it will be no more! So, until the Lord either calls us home or comes to take us home, we have a job to do and that job is best accomplished by DEMONSTRATING the Love of our Heavenly Father and then confirming that Love with His Holy Word as inspired by the Holy Spirit and confirmed in the Written Word.

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Physically I have been on disability for several years now, and that has limited my ability to minister as I used to in the "brick-and-mortar" establishments that I was used to doing when younger, but spiritually it has opened a whole new area of ministry that I was not aware of until a few years ago. It has opened the door to many "home-bound" brothers and sisters who have been "abandoned" by the local ministries. It has led me to realize something that I have believed for a long time, but now I KNOW in a real way and that is what Paul also writes about:

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

It is this liberty that I strive for not just for myself, but for my brothers and sisters in the Lord, for that and only that is the source of TRUE liberty!

I am honored to be a part of a couple of MSN groups such as this one and even though I have had my own website in the past and am in the process of starting one back up, I believe that as brothers and sisters we need to fellowship with one another to strive for the unity that the Holy Spirit calls us too.

1 ¶ I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
2 ¶ with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

BROTHER KENNYS' TESTIMONY I WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 8 1966. FROM THE START OF MY LIFE IT WAS AS THOUGHT THE DEVIL WAS OUT TO STOP ME. I HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS THAT I WAS NOT EXPECTED TO LIVE TWO DAYS. THEN THINGS STARTED TO LOOK BETTER FOR ME, BUT EVEN IF I LIVED THE DOCTORS SAID, I WOULD ONLY BE A VEGETABLE AT BEST. BOT GOD HAD HAD HIS HANDS ON MY LIFE. IT TOOK MANY STAYS IN THE HOSPITAL BEFORE I STARTED TO GET BETTER.

FROM MY CHILDHOOD I TOOK AN INTEREST IN GOD, AND READ THE BIBLE. I STARTED GOING TO CHURCH AND FOUND SUCH PEACE THERE, THAT I KNEW THERE HAD TO BE SOMETHING TO THIS GOD EVERYONE TALKED ABOUT.

I EXCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR ON JANUARY 14 1990. IT HAS NOT BEEN AN EASY WALK WITH GOD OVER THE YEARS, BUT ONE THING I HAVE FOUND TO BE TRUE IS, HE IS FAITHFUL!

IN 1991 I WAS HIT BY A CAR WHILE SITTING AT A BUS STOP. I ENDED UP UNDER THE CAR BETWEEN THE TIRES UNDER THE DOORS ON THE SIDE. THE DRIVER TRIED TO DRIVE AWAY WITH ME STILL UNDER THE CAR. THE TIRES WERE SPINNING FULL BLAST INCHES FROM ME, BUT THE CAR DID NOT MOVE. THEN PSALMS 34:7 CAME TO MY MIND: "I WILL PLACE MY ANGELS AROUND THOSE WHO FEAR ME."

IN 1992 I WENT TO VICTORY BIBLE INSTITUTE IN TULSA, OKLAHOMA FOR MINISTRY TRAINING. DURING BIBLE SCHOOL GOD OPENED THE DOOR TO PREACH IN BIBLE SCHOOL. I HAD WRITTEN A SERMON CALLED "ANSWER OUR CRY" I LATTER WROTE A SONG BY THE SAME TITLE.

IN 1993 GOD LAUNCHED MY SINGING MINISTRY. I HAVE BEEN SINGING FOR JESUS FOR THE PAST 14 YEARS. I HAVE SANG TO CROWDS FROM 1-800 PEOPLE OVER THE YEARS, BOTH IN CHURCHES, AND IN THE STREETS.

IN 2007 I GOT THE CHANCE TO SING TO THE BIGGEST CROWD I HAVE EVER SANG TO IN MY LIFE, ON OCTOBER 21, 2007 AFTER 17 YEARS OF PRAYING I SANG "LIVE" ON TELEVISION FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!! GOD IS FAITHFUL!!

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT FUTURE OF SINGING FOR GOD AND SERVING HIM THE REST OF MY LIFE.

GOD CHANGED MY LIFE AND HE CAN CHANGE YOURS TOO. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT IS WORTH LIVING FOR, TRY JESUS, EVERYTHING ELSE YOU HAVE TRIED HAS FAILED, I PROMISE YOU YOU WONT BE DISAPOINTED!
