This morning he says ""Max wanna apple?" and as soon as I got the fridge open he went nuts!  He told me he wanted an apple!    I've been trying for 2 weeks now--"Max want an apple?" "yummmy apple Max" "this is a good apple, you want one?".....i'm so excited! LOL  Hubby was actually home for this, too!

Woohoo!!! That's great, Tina! Isn't that a great feeling??

I think it's likely that now that the ice is broken, he'll likely pick things up quickly.

Great going, Max and Tina!

It is wonderful when they say something new. Especially if it's something you have been trying to teach them and they understand.
Kit isn't much of a talker. He's more of a mumbler most of the time, but can say some things clearly when he wants to. So far, he has only said "want apple" once that I've heard. Of couse, he got some. He sure knows how to say "nut" though and says it often!

It is always exciting when you hear a new word and twice as thrilling when miore than one word is grouped together...
I love to listen to them and at tims it's a word from a liong time ago, or isn't used frequently and that makes it even better...

I'm glad that the hubby was home to hear him ask for his apple....
