Well as you can plainly see I am quite late getting the Whistle out For the last few months migraines have been getting the best of me, making summer and fall kind of miserable. The doc increased some meds and we are trying new ones to get a handle on the problem.

Hoping to get down to Nays soon to drop off Gabe and Bailey. The timing has either been wrong,or Ive just been too sick to go. The motorhome is really to go, so we need to make the trip before the snow flies lol.
The birdy gang is doing fine Jack Bird learned to say Bullfeathers!!! I dropped something on my foot in the bird room and caught myself before I said something they would all probably start saying... So bullfeathers is better than the alternitive!
Ariel has picked up "Well that's it then. She says it at just the right times too!

And now some Halloween pics Dont worry I plan on doing birdy ones too. Nan
No one looks very thrilled to be there. It was fun getting them dressed up though

It is definitely fall here in Oregon!  Today is sunny, clear, breezy, and 42 degrees!  The leaves are BEAUTIFUL and piling up in the yard!  LOL......waiting for a large wind to come along and blow them all over the the neighbors yard!  Ok, ok, ...so that wasn't very nice!  Must be the time of year!
Anyway, below are two of my little munchkins wishing you all a Happy Halloween!
Best Wishes,
Crystal

Our Tuesday started off with Lolly going to the groomer at 8:00,  when Don came home her brought us all some yummy White Chocolate Mocha Lattes from Starbucks.......As the oldsters were rushing to get theirs one of them managed to overflow our new magical $600.oo toilet we just had put in for them....supposedly, you can't jam it up of cause it to overflow.....yeah right!!!!!  So hubby and I did the plumbing cleanup and mopped up the nasties on the flooe and disinfected the floor with bleach.   We had to zap our treat from Starbucks in the microwave before we could drink it.

Then it was time for 5 of us to go to the drive-thru flu shot clinic in two seperate shifts.

When I got home from the second flu shot shift Noel, our 90 yr old gentlemen, had locked himself in the bathroom and passed out.....It was a fun time gettin into the bathroom (I have since turned the knobs around on that bathroom door so it can no longer be locked from inside the bathroom.)  He was feeling very bad and had low blood pressure, etc, so the ambulance came and took him to the hospital.  YIKES!!!!
He was later admitted to the hospital for a raging urinary tract infection.

Today I slipped off the step into the office and slip across the floor into my desk with birds water dishes in my hands I feel head first into my desk and broke the upright shelf unit in half on on side by hitting it with my shoulder.  What water didn't spill all over me went right into my printer!!!  So I may be shopping for a new priner.  Luckily, it wasn't turned on so hubby has it outside trying to dry it out using a high pressude air hose on it.
\
I'm okay, a bruise here and there and I'll sure be stiff tomorrow.  Twiggy said *Momma, What happen?*

So how has your week been?  di

P.S.  I didn't mention the accidents on different days that made me bless my lucky stars that I had purchased a new Hoover Steam Carpet Cleaner.  Those accidents happened on Monday and Wednesday.....GGGGGrrrrrr.

Golly Di, you are worse than I am. Hire a keeper.
No bad stuff here, so far. I have had a tension headache for several days and it's not fair. I do not get headaches. Got enough other pain without my headbone hurting, too.

It's soupy here. Dense fog yesterday and today. Sun peeped out for 10 minutes and it's fogged up again.
Our leaves are turning, a few trees at a time, and are beautiful. I especially love my Virginia creeper vines climbing the trees and house. It's a beautiful pinky orangy red right now.

The trees that I thought had died during the drought have begun to put on new baby leaves. I am so tickled. Freeze will get them but they'll come back again in the spring.

Well, I had an absolutely wonderful weekend. On Saturday night we had a steak dinner at Murray's. Dad supplied the steak, which was excellent meat and cooked to perfection by Murray ... just divine!

Last night they had a family evening at a local park. There was a fire swallower, fire dancing, stilt dancing, and it was all topped of by a truly magnificent fireworks display. The grandgirls were completely enthralled by it all.

Fortunately, dil Laura had the foresight to bring lots of quilts, and I had borrowed folding chairs from my neighbour. Emily and I cuddled under a blanket, with her on my lap so she could get a good view of the dancers, etc. Our shared warmth really helped, as it was really cold out!

Can't wait for next year! lol

Hope everyone is doing well, and that you all have a really great week!

Abby
