If Jesus came to visit would you
have to change your clothes before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines, and put the Bibles where they'd been?
Would you hide your worldly music and put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right in, or would you rush about?

And I wonder if the Saviour spent a day or two with you,
would you go right on doing, the things you always do?

Would you go right on saying, the things you always say?
Or would life for you continue as it does from day to day?

Would you take Jesus with you everywhere you go?
Or would you maybe change your plans for just a day or so?
Would you be glad to have Him meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away until His visit ends?

Would you be glad to have Him stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great relief when He at last was gone?
It might be interesting to know, the things that you would do,
If Jesus came in person, to spend some time with you.

Thought provoking, isn't it?  soul searching time.  yes.

I just thought this as I read it  ;   we should consider each Christian we deal with to be Jesus;  for he said if you do it to the least of these my brethren,  you have done it unto me.  Now,  I believe we would have a changed world;  changed homes;  changed schools and churches  IF  WE  JUST  DID  THIS.

Hey, I like this too.  I like what starlight said.  I will ask for prayer and pray for myself, that I will be able to remember this and  LIVE  it.  Lord Jesus,  please help me to live by this for you said what we do to your little believers, we do to you.

Lord forgive me if I do one of them wrong.

Joie

Well, I must say this is certainly something to ponder.  I am way behind in this matter of treating others as if I see them as Jesus.  I must try to move on up into this higher 'room' of Christianity.

I do not believe that I would have to change anything, there is nothing in my home that would be offensive to Jesus if he would come today. There isn't anything that I know that I am doing that he wouldn't be satified with.
I live my life as close to him as I know how?
