Daniel 12:4~~~~ But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the END: many shall run to and fro, and KNOWLEDGE shall be INCREASED.
Now, notice this said until the time of the END that KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED.
1Cor. 13:8~~~~~~~ Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be KNOWLEDGE, it shall VANISH AWAY.
Now, which one?~~~??????
Are we at the end? Who knows? Did KNOWLEDGE VANISH AWAY? But Daniesl said until the END, KNOWLEDGE WOULD INCREASE~~~~~ so which one is right?
We have a world full of 'church' people who teach that the Scripture in 1Cor. 13:8, has already been fullfilled; ~~ that the gifts of the Spirit are no longer valid for today. They say the tongues have already ceased; the prophecy has already ceased; but if so, then the KNOWLEDGE would have to have already vanished away.
But, if KNOWLEDGE has vanished away, how then can Daniel's prophecy be fullfilled ~~ that until the END, KNOWLEDGE WILL INCREASE.
Vanish away ~~~~~~~ or ~~~~~~~~~~ increase? Which one??
This is easy. In Daniel, we are told people will 'run to and fro.' This is evidence of discontent, since all who worship Messiah are at peace. The people being referenced are not believers. Their form of 'knowledge' is science and nature. In 1CO, we find Paul referencing the Knowledge of Messiah. People today have no knowledge of Messiah because they are too busy running 'to and fro' gathering knowledge of mundane things and ignoring the knowledge of God.
Therefore, both are correct.
