Hello everyone Its has been a long time since I have posted and I havent posted alot in the past but My daughter Ocean is 6yrs old and she has been a diabetic since she was 4yrs old and she is now on a pump. So much better!! I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Ocean's A1c's have been around 9.5 % (average of 14 or 252)which is not good at all but her BGs from our monitor have been great so The doctors went ahead and ordered a fructosamine which is kind of like an A1c but it only goes back 3 weeks and more acurate. which was 7.8 (average of around 10 or 180)which is way better. So basically this means that her red blood cells are not working as they should. has anyone had experience with this? My doctor is still looking into it and is going to get back to me about what to do next. Does this mean she might be anemic? I dont know just something I have been looking into.
