Since Saturn is in my 1st house is it my chart ruler? Or is it Mercury since Virgo is my rising sign?

Dec.27: Your Saturn is actually in your 12th house and conjunct the ASCendent by a close or 2 degree orb.

Your chart ruler, I would think is Mercury, because Virgo is the Rising sign for you.

 

The Hindu/Vedic however, is different. Your Rising sign in Vedic then is also in Virgo, but in another degree.,and that is taken into account too!

 

It would be termed the 1st decante of Virgo, because it's in the first 10 degrees then.

 

So this for sure is saying your chart's ruler is Mercury, and the sub-ruler, I think would be your chart (Vedic's Moon), which is in Pisces then, so Jupiter is the ancient ruler of Pisces as the Vedic does not use the new rulers,(of Neptune,Pluto or any newer planets),

 

or they do it backwards (the Moon? as ruler and rising as sub ruler, I can't recall)

In case you've  never seen it.

 

You then can see if your Sun or other planets are in different signs from your Tropical or Western Chart.

 

The Vedic, or Ancient Sidereal (on which it is based), is on  the true constellations and I cannot read a Vedic Chart.

 

These charts, are approx. 28 degrees, (behind our own in the West or the Tropical Zodiac)........because the tropical zodiac astrology uses the "precession of the equinoxes" and this moves the signs "ahead by apporx. 28 degrees then.

 

Edgar Cayce said that the Vedic/or Sidereal Charts are nearer the correct as more the Persian ancient astrology, but I'm sure that our Tropical Charts are equal to the task of good dilineation for the most part.

 

I think they are similar in many ways, but just assigning different signs because of the precession.

 

The MOON Ruler in Vedic is very important, moreso then the Sun's ruler, which they consider malefic.

 

The Vedic, (I think), because it is based with a belief in reincarnation, and rebirth then, believes the Sun is malefic because it represents symbolically, the "necessity because of hte EGO to be reborn in a karmic cycle over & over)......as well, they see Saturn as another Malefic.

 

You can find much on Vedic if  you wish, on the threads I've posted around here, just look for them, under Sidereal, (on the left of your screen)......or whereever you see the posts for Vedic.

Perhaps you'll pick some stuff up for understanding, if it interests you at some future date.

              I think to best understand WHAT the natal is doing or not doing, is to understand that it is only a "Reflection", at a point in time, (say the birth itself), or when using transits, the planets are a reflection then, of a "point in time", of the transits, that are aligned with YOUR consciousness.

 

They then, (the planets), don't DO to you., or CAUSE anything, in and by themselves.  They only resonate to your own consciousness.

I have stopped dancing some months ago. I am in college right now to do something in the medical feild, but am thinking about switching to parelegal.I am trying to put the dancing behind me for now.It is just  really hard trying to find a job right now with no prior work experience exept in a pork slaughter house.I can t put down a stripper. It is very hard for me with trying to think correctly in terms of changing the way I think.I am a horrid slave to routine.I dont see or speak to anyone exept for when go to school,but I dont know anyone and sit by myself in the back row of each class.My husband works all the time and when he is off work he is working out. So I am by myself thinking entire days and that is it, just sitting and thinking , everyday,which is very lonely.So I think maybe this might be some of what you maybe talking about with the astrology part you mentioned about my thinking,because it is this big part of my life right now.Very boring life lately.

As for stalkers and such, I have long term stalkers that even know everything about me. I used to get letters in the mail from 2 different gentlemen.Its kind of terrifying.I am done dancing now though.

I'm really glad, Dec.27, that you've started to try to get your life in a semblance of order, because you are a very intelligent girl with a lot on the ball......and of course, don't need that kind of aggravation in your life.,as you are apparently experiencing.

I remember when my oldest daughter dated a guy who became a problem, (a mental case......perhaps on drugs....and he even hid out in our basement, when she didn't know he was in our house, after she broke off with him)., I took her to the courthouse, where we were able to get a warrant (or whatever it's called), to keep him, so many feet away from her, or be arrested for this.

 

It worked.  ..........intimidating him enough, that he was history.

 

Perhaps  you need such a deal with the court?.......I remember it was only a few dollars, (back then, like less then $20.00) for the paperwork.

 

That's t he problem when we get or allow ourselves to get involved with low lives.....you know?...........EVEN though you yourself, want change, and make the effort, the low lifes that were once part of the life, won't go away necessarily., and you may even have to be very firm about it, with a legal, "Restraining order", (that's what it's called I think)..........

Your Pluto is not in a bad position, only one opposition to the Moon (emotions), which suggests you may have been one to try & control thru emotions, other people... (in your past)...but it sounds to me like you are attempting to change this.

                    Thanks for all of your help.Yes, I am very aware of dangers and have mace  too for a fear of attack dogs running loose,like yourself.I have always be afraid of being attacked by a dog.But I set up boobie traps in my home so in case someone would come inside.I set pans or things in front of the doors and things under a few of my windows so I would hear them and get woke up if someone breaks in.I do not have a gun,I am scared of them,but I do have knives and ball bats and 2 small dogs that would not hurt a fly.I dont really leave home e xcept during the day for school so I am not out a strange hours anymore.I am very paranoid of weirdos and you never know what the hell people's motives are and I have dealt with some psychopaths.

 

I will have to read of the planet Lust , I have never heard of it.It sounds interesting.There is so much to astrology!

Hi Dear Dec.27th.  I'm glad to hear you are okay., and I truly don't think you need to go to extra lengths or be paranoid, BUT for sure, you need to be alert to your surroundings at all times.

You NEED TO REMEMBER however, to put the number of the Asteroid in the Astro.com place where you can do this, (under the place where you insert the fixed stars, etc. boxes) there is a place there you will see to type the asteroid number.

 

I don't know if it really is worth it, but I thought it was interesting.
