Raven materializes outside of Silvaras tower in Elmshade. Dressed in his normal traveling grey robes Raven approaches the doors, and thuds on them with his staff.
While waiting he looks out over the beauty of Elmshade forest, and breaths in deep the many fragrances. He hopes everything goes well as he looks down to the thick tome under his arm. The powerful spell of Estate Transferance will be needed, for the upcomming task at hand. Now if only Silvara and Arienne will agree to it.
Raven thinks back to the old ruins he found near Elmshades boarders. The markings on them were similar to the strange stone monoliths that now stand in the garden. He spent days studying them both, but it wasnt until he found the scrolls at the ruins that things started to change. The discovery he had made explained why so many wizards, magical creatures, and even the Gods themselves are so interested in Elmshade. Raven had uncovered part of the areas ancient past, and he must tell Silvara and Arienne. We must study this further, and closer.

Silvara sat in the library, looking over some books and some scrolls that she had found a while back. She heard the thud on the door and called to one of the servants in the tower to let who ever was at the door into the tower. She continued to make notes into a blank paged book. Soon one of the other tower servants came to her and said: "Mistress Silvara, Master Stormcrow is outside. He seems to be anxious to speak with you." Silvara looked up from her writing and nodded. "Yes, bring escort him up here. And have some sort of drink and finger food made. I'm sure he's not the only one that will come today." The servant nodded and went off to escort Raven up to the library. In the meantime, Silvara made some space in the room. She cleared part of the table and put her books and papers in a neat pile. Just as she had taken a seat again, the servant walked in ushering Raven into the library.  Silvara smiled slightly and stood, extending her hand to Raven. "Master Stormcrow. To what do I owe this visit?"

Raven smiles apon seeing Silvara, and walks up to her gently taking her hand in his. "Wonderful to see you again Silvara. I have some important discoveries to share with you and Arienne." Raven places the heavy book on the table, relieved to be free of its weight. "I have sent an Ariel Servant to summon Arienne here as well. This is a matter of great importance concerning Elmshade, and I think we should wait for Arienne to arrive before I go into the details. The information I have discovered is so fragile, I dare not repeat it too often for fear of it reaching the wrong ears."
Raven looks around the library as if studying it. He then looks back to Silvara... "Is it safe to speak of secret things in here? It is important we have utter privacy."

She stood in the looming shadow of the tower, looking up and lost in memories. It was strange for her to think that she had come full circle once more, and now she was here in Elmshade again. The Gods play games with us all, she thought wryly. She knocked upon the heavy tower doors and smiled when they were opened by Bane, the tower's guardian. He did not move away from the door, as expected, but stood to block her way. Arienne frowned slightly, and then realized it must have something to do with the beholder floating quietly behind her. She told the golem, "Please announce to Mistress Silvara that Arienne has come to see her and brought a..." She trailed off and turned to study Viewsk, chewing on her lip and thinking for a moment. "A guest. I will wait here, Bane." She smiled and waited at the door, while the golem went to presumably announce her presence to the Mistress of the tower, though she thought it was likely that Silvara already knew she was here.

Silvara looked over to Bane and smiled. "Yes Bane, I know she's here. Please bring her up, for we have much to speak of. Oh, and do show her... companion a nice spot in the library. I cannot have someone who isn't supposed to be here eavsdropping, now can I. So have the others just bring out a seat for...uh, her guest."  Bane nodded and turning on his heel he headed out of the library and down the winding  stairway, leaving Silvara and Raven alone once again. Sil turned to Raven and spoke to him. "This library is sealed so that none may hear from the outside. I also made it the only non magic room, well after Laurelle left. I needed a place of magical silence. So here, we are in complete solitude." Just as she was speaking these last words, Bane came and opened the door ushering Arienne and her companion into the room. Sil stood and nodded to them. Bane closed the door softly and Sil then invited Arienne to take a seat."Arienne we have awaited your arrival for it seems that Master Stormcrow has much to discuss with us." Silvara looked over to Raven and said, "So Master Stormcrow, what brings you to Elmshade with such urgency?"

Raven nodded to Arienne with a smile as she entered to join their meeting. He almost fell over with surprise as he sees a Beholder float in behind her. Silvara spoke, and regained Ravens attention.... beckoning him to reviel his work.
Raven opens the large tome on the library table, and then looks up to both Silvara and Arienne. "Many centuries ago there was a magical race of beings who many historians believe to be the root of magic. Its creation, and constructive uses. This race of people was niether human, elven, or any of the races known today, but their existance dates back beyond any of the humanoid races." Raven points down to the large old tome... "This book is the only surviving relic, describing this race of magic people. I aquired it from the Great Library of Waterdeep, on loan of course. Many of the elder historians dont believe this race existed, and the tome is someones idea of a joke. Mainly because no proof besides this book was ever found of their existance. No fossils, ledgers, ruins, not anything."
Raven then paces back and forth rubbing his chin, and looking to the floor in thought. "Even I myself gave up on this crusade many years ago, beginning to agree with the elders...until now." Raven looks to both Arienne and Silvara with a serious look on his brow. "I have discovered the writings in this very tome, match the ones on the monoliths in Jadzias grove...perfectly. I believe the ruins, and proof of this long lost race is burried right here under Elmshade. Thats why the Gods, and other benevolent beings we've been having trouble with, have been excessively hounding this place. They dont want us to uncover the ruins which I suspect are all around us here in these woods."
Raven folds his arms over his chest with the look of adventure in his eye as he looks to them both smiling.

She had warned Viewsk on their way up the stairs not to touch anything in the tower and to be on his best behavior. The beholder had nodded wordlessly and his eyestalks were gazing around, taking in all the sights of Silvara's home. When they entered the library, Arienne's mouth gaped a bit at seeing Raven there already, but she tried to hide her surprise and quietly moved to greet the Mistress. Viewsk floated in behind her and began to bob around the room, his curiosity obviously taking hold of him, as he looked at all the interesting and magical items in the room. Since he knew how to read, he floated in front of the bookshelves, his main eye greedily devouring the titles on the spines of all the books. He was quite preoccupied, and Arienne knew she would have no trouble from him. She smiled hesitantly at  Raven and Silvara and listened quietly to what Master Stormcrow had to say. Her crystal blue eyes peered more closely at the tome he had brought, a small frown etched onto her features. The elf-maiden arched a slender, silver brow at Raven's words of the ruins perhaps being buried under Elmshade and she nodded very slightly, crossing her arms and looking at them both seriously.

"I have returned to Elmshade and have brought my tower, and a few...eh...friends with me," she started, gesturing to the beholder. "That's Viewsk, by the way." The beholder turned at the sound of his name and smiled widely, revealing a large set of teeth below his main eye, which looked to be open as far as possible. "Me Viewsk," he said politely to Silvara. "Me love your books, Lady. Hehhhhh." Then he turned his attention back to reading all the titles again. Arienne smiled and said, " If what you say is true, Raven, then we should perhaps try and discover if anything lies beneath the woods. How we could accomplish such a feat, I'm not sure. And we will need to study the writings, both in the Tome and also at the grove, as well. It will require that all of us turn our attention to finding out as much as possible." Her smile grew and she got an excited sparkle in her blue eyes. "Can you imagine? What if we could be the first to discover such a race?! We could become famous! We could....oh...dear." Her gaze clouded a little and she frowned. "If we did happen to discover such a thing, it could very well bring more attention here to Elmshade than we had ever wanted. We must also consider the implications of what such a discovery could do to and for the village."

Silvara looked over at the beholder and smiled slightly. "Thanks." She then looked over at Arienne and Raven, and after having listened to the two, she stood for a moment and looked at the tome that Raven had brought with him. She stood quietly for a moment then said, "If what you say is true, then we have quite a force that was here once. And really it would be quite a find. But as for fame and all that, you both can have it. I'd love to find some magic that could make the forces here in Elmshade stronger. I mean, if we could find a fountain of strength in finding this, well I'd say that I'd be happy." She looked over to the two, her complete thought out. Not being one for many words she waited to see what the others would say.

Raven smiles to them both, and starts pacing again around the table...keeping his distance, and an eye on the beholder. "Yes it would be an extraordinary find, one that would most definatly bring attention to Elmshade. However thats the one thing I dont want to happen...which is why I brought this to both of your attention." Raven stopps and looks directly at them with a seriouse look across his brow. "I propose we form a trinity of sorts here at Elmshade. A secretive wizards council of study on the ruins here. I dont want anyone else to know about this, until we have thouroughly examined every aspect of this mystery. A secretive council of three...us and only us. We three will delve into these ruins, and explore every inch, and keep the best secrets for ourselves, and Elmshade. We will keep this secret from everyone, and only allow others in on the secret with the permission of the other two. I will even bring my Tower back to Elmshade, so that my lab will be close at hand. Maybe even join our three towers into one, to symbolize our unity."
Raven then looks to them both with a grinn, awaiting their response.

Viewsk was happily occupied reading a few of the volumes of Silvara's vast library, and ignored Raven's apparent unease. Arienne stifled a small, amused giggle and nodded at his suggestion. "A secret council of the three of us...I like that idea. I trust all of us to have Elmshade's best interests at heart." She walked over to the library's window, looking out of it and gazing at her tower in the distance. She turned to the other two with an almost apologetic shrug. "Unfortunately, although I like the idea of combining our towers into one, mine will not be able to do such a thing. You see," she said, bringing up the black steel ring on her left hand. "My tower is bound to the ring's magic, and I do not want to take a chance on affecting that. However," she smiled radiantly at Raven. "I am thrilled to hear that you may move your tower back here, Raven. It will be so much more convenient to find you here than in Glynnfaighn." The silver haired elf looked over at Silvara curiously. "You seem quiet on this, Mistress Silvara. Is there something about it that troubles you?"

Silvara listened quietly then looked over to Arienne after her question. She thought for a moment before she stood and spoke to the two. "Actually I think that our alliance would be a wonderful idea. I'm just worried about a few factors. First, Master Stormcrow. Don't you have responsibilities in Glynnfaighn that will need your immediate attention? Because if not that I'm sure we could go ahead and proceed. As for your tower being tied down Arienne, I'm sure we could work around that to be able to unite our three towers." She paused for a moment, collecting her thoughts. "Now I must ask you both something. For this to work there is one other, well two other people we need to speak with. Mainly I mean Diedra. But if need be Laurelle as well. I believe that if we are to be successful we shall need their help to get through all this. What do you both think?" She looked from the one to the other, awaiting their response.

Raven speaks confidently with a smile... "I will remain the Guildmaster of Glynnfaighns MageTower. I am already constructing teleportation pads to transport me quickly back and forth. One in my Ivory Tower, and the other in the MageTower in Glynnfaighn. I was also thinking of bringing Laurelle in on this as well. Her ancient Dragon knowledge could be of some use sinse dragons were the only other species around the same time as the Ancient race of the ruins." Raven kinda blushes as weill at the next statement... "I was going to have her stay with me at the Ivory Tower as well. We've become close over the past couple months. She too has daily buisness in Glynnfaighn, but anyone can use the teleport pads and get to Glynnfaighn quickly. I could even set them outside of the towers for everyones use. Also there is no question of Diedras skills. She would also be a valuable asset in this venture."

Arienne shook her head slightly, thinking with a small, pensive frown marring her face. "I will not chance disrupting the magic that binds my tower to the ring, but I will help the two of you join your towers, if you wish." She quickly added, "I'm sure that it might be possible, but it comes from a different realm, so I will keep it seperate for now." She moved away from the window to stand near Viewsk and lightly stroke his waving eyestalks affectionately. She nodded slowly as they both spoke of involving others. "Of course Diedre and Laurelle should be told of this. I, too, agree that they might be able to provide valuable insight and added points of view." She smiled very softly, noting Raven's blush and the warmth of his tone when he spoke of Mistress Laurelle. Her blue eyes held a jaded sadness and her jaw tightened almost imperceptibly, but she kept her own council. Forcing her smile wider, she looked back at the others. "Then we are agreed? If so, there are things I must attend to, such as finding a farmer that might be willing to do business for a steady supply of livestock for Viewsk and Spyke, my wyvern. It is good to see you both again, perhaps when you both have a free moment, you'll come by for dinner, sometime. I could show you my latest golems, and you could meet a few friends." She kept her too bright smile in place and looked over at the beholder. "Come, Viewsk, let's go find you and Spyke a steady food supply, eh?"

NARRATION: And so the Trinity Towers were created, each sitting on the original site of Silvaras tower. Each was set next to the other in a triangular formation atop the hill. The very hill itself divided between the three towers as well, each growing its own plant life.

Silvaras original Tower, left to her by her teacher, and mentor, Laurelle. Its dark, slick surface radiates the powerful, and deadly side of magic. Offensive dwoemers surround this tallest of the three towers. Mistress Silvara specializes in the more destructive spells, and elemental magic...... mostly fire. However it is her deadly cunning, and intellegence which make her the BattleMage of the Trinity. Her area of the hilltop grows hard and thorny brush with firey red flower buds scattered on the brush. It has a red stone trail that leads up the hillside to Silvaras Tower.

Starsinger Tower, the home of the enchanting sorceress Arienne Starsinger. It is the shortest of the three towers, but of stout construction. Anyone looking at its greyish smooth stones, can tell its dwarven make, thereby thick and very sturdy. It looks more like a small tower fortress than a wizards tower, but its strong build and thick sides make up for it. Arienne specializes in the more enchantment, and nature side of magic. She has been known to tame the wildest of beasts, and uncover some of  the most ancient of magics. Her knowledge and determination for wisdom make her the Enchantress of the Trinity. Ariennes side of the hill grows berry bushes, and fruit trees up and down its slope.  A single cobblestone walkway winds its way up the hill, to Starsinger towers doors.

The Ivory Tower, the home of the white wizard, Raven Stormcrow. Its sleek elegent construction, and fancy laced balconies and butresses, all glow white ivory. Even at night the Ivory Tower emits a soft glow. Its beautiful arches and thin needlelike construction give it away as being elven, and looking quite fragile. However it is very strong, and uses magic as reinforcement. Raven specializes in white magic, and alchemy. His knowledge of protections, wards, and the variouse potions and elixers he creates, makes him the WhiteMage of the Trinity. His area of the hillside, is covered by thick, green grass that only grows about three inches high. It has a white brick trail leading up to the Ivory Tower.

With the Trinity set, the three mages combine their knowledge and forces to uncover the secrets of the Elmshade Ruins.

What will they find??
