Hi Mike, I think that is where the name Douglas came from too !! When George married his secound wife Maud they had a son named Douglas so to my mind it is starting to fit into place, Doug had a son who has a daughter, I knew Doug and Brian quiet well, I will pass on all your finding's to George's Great Grand daughter I now she will be delighted.     You have been a marvel and Marian too, thank you both very much.
Martha.

Hi Chloe, no luck with George and Mary, I received a marriage cert from the I.O.M. and George's father on it is a William Wall I need a Isaac Wall to be the father!!
No record of a baptism of a George Wall between 1870 - 1880 either !  There is another office that deals with bap and births for other faiths.

So back to the drawing board !!!!

Thanks for all your time on this one.

Oh dear Martha how frustrating.  This does happen - I speak from experience - I have many certificates that don't relate to my ancestors!!!!  Do let me know if you have success elsewhere though.

That's excellent Martha - a step in the right direction.  Yes I'd be very interested to know if you discover anything more from your cousin.
