of how these cute little guys invaded my home and stole my heart
One day while we were out shopping at a petshop for toys to spoil our dog Kacey , we came across and fell in love with a little ball of dark sable fuzz with white bib that looked so much like a little baby Tasmanian devil that we named him Tassie straight away. We decided to get him a playmate there and then, so he wouldnt get lonely without all his brothers and sisters, a little ball of chocolate sable fuzz caught our eye and that was Sydney. The Australian theme names had now started . Tassie and Sydney seemed to have attached themselves to me very quickly and had become My Boys.
Then one day my hubby decided he needed a little girl of his own, so we went in search of Adelaide. We found Adelaide aka Addy whilst out and about on a day trip to a mall in St Louis. She was in a cage with a bundle of Fuzz and was the first to see us, so this little bundle of chocolate sable wobbled over to us as if to say "I pick you". And because the boys had grown in leaps and bounds in such a short time that we thought "Addy" was so small that she would also need a playmate :) so along came my snuggle bug Darwin in the form of a little chocolate sable with 4 white mitts.
We had thought *HAHAHA* that our family was complete untill we were out buying ferret food FD wanted to look at the babies and I was being strong I repeated over and over in my head no more babies no more babies. I was staying strong until we saw Adalia aka Ida she was a cute little silver mitt and a week younger than Addy and Darwin, so we knew they would become good playmates. At first I was just going to hold her and put her back, remaining strong to the ferret math that was drawing me in HA! A woman came up to me and said what a cute little ferret are you going to buy her ? and without hesitation I blurted out uncontrolably a very loud and descisive YES! She had been in the store for 2 weeks, we felt she was special and that she was such a loving baby that we brought her home. It didnt take me long to realise Ida was very special because it turned out that she was deaf.
