As we all know MSN groups will be closing there doors to us in Febuary...We all have been searching in different directions to find a new place we can call home.I have been working with Genie to come up with a place that we feel will serve the needs of our group as well as our members.Now I know change is hard. All I ask is that you give time to yourself in learning the ropes in the new group we have choosen. Our new group is based at Yuku.I am still working to complete the finial set up and hope to have us up and running soon. Some things you can do to get yourself prepared is to save any tags to your computer that you wish to bring along to the new group.If you have a photobucket accout that can be used there also. You will be able to add tags just like here at MSN..The set up of the pages are different.You will need to pratice by trying out the different tools available..If you don't already know how to cope & paste that maybe one thing you will want to learn...Please if you have any trouble let us know and we will do our best to help.Remember we are learning right along with you. We will not be moving the recipes..That would be far to time consumming.We will be starting out by posting new recipes at Yuku.If you want to save some of the recipes here please save to your computer.When MSN closes all the recipes will be gone from here. So thats were we are for now.If you have any questions please post them and I will try to answer the best I can. Thanks Kitabell ( With Genies Approval ) |

That is GREAT news! I am so excited and happy that you chose Yuku. I am on a dog group and they moved there and I love it. The options there are great. The backgrounds (or "skins" as they call them) are awesome. You can use photobucket or there is a place in your profile to store pictures as well. Once you get used to it is very simple to navigate the site too. Im just pleased as punch  LOL That will give me something to look forward too when I get back from my trip. I know how difficult it is to set a site up and thank you so much (Kitabell and all mngr) for doing it. Hugs Sally |

Betty & Linda your not alone in this, I still get lost with some of the stuff just in thies groups some times....LOL....a slow learner on the computer. I hope we all can get the hang of it better over at YUKU then multiply becuase I have a friend over there and boy I tell you what,I have been in her group in there for a week and I finaly just figured out how to post a message grrrrrrrrr. i remember when i first started at msn it was hard for me to lean this way too, i am sure geneie and the other managers will be glad to help us learn love you all |

Do I have this right, Genie's will stay open until MSN closes it in February? So we have a bit of time to retrieve recipes? |

Yes, Meadowlark, we will not close the GSK group down until they delete it. So you have plenty of time to get recipes and I am moving some of them like the Tried and True. That will also give everyone a chance to move any of their recipes from here that they might want to put on the boards at Yuku. Hugs, Genie |

lol!! I have been started over there too! I am glad I am not the only one with problems!!I usually have to mess up a few times before I get it right!!I am Going over to my old group and burn a lot of my siggys I store there!! If I get the time, I will bring some of the recipes too!We will all finally make it!!We will just be bald before it all gets done!!Hugggs to all! I am having puter problems too!!Grrrrr! |

Like the rest, it will be a change, but a good change. I started with MSN about 8 yrs ago. Got used to it and thought it the best out there, despite all the grief they have given us at times. I'm looking forward to the change, and if there is anything at all I can do to help, let me know. Gramma |

We can all help each other,I too have a hard time learning new things...LOLOLOLO @ Shirley,yep we'll all be bald!! I remember when Del was pulling her hair out trying to teach us alllll different things,let me tell ya she is one patient lady,thank goodness!! LOLOLOLOL...I belong to some groups at Yuku too,so if anyone needs any help just hollar..I'll be glad to help....We'll alllll be fine,change is just frustrating at times |
