Isa 43:18-19“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.?nbsp; To have a “new beginning?you must forget the past deserts of wilderness, you have been traveling through the dry places, but now your land will be filled with milk and honey.

Now is the time to trust in him. “O taste and see that the LORD is good:?Ps 34:8

*God is ready to do a new thing in your life. He is telling you that he has already made the way(and you thought ‘There’s just no way') Fret not thyself because of evildoers, be not fearful of them. Your time of harvest has come! Just as the Lord spoke through Joshua, he is now saying to you...

“I have given you a land for which ye did not labor, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.?Joshua 24:13

You can leave your past labors behind (for others to reap.) God is taking you to new pastures and you will reap that which you have not sown. Your dry places will now be a flowing river; your wilderness will now spring forth with gladness. For you I will do a new thing. saith the Lord.

I started out giving my own message but where the (*) is- the spirit of the Lord took over.

Thank you Holy Spirit

Praise God Folks we need to start our day with new wine. For so much of the time we want The Lord to do a new thing in us and we ask for him to help us grow in him.

To do this we must start every day a fresh ,

new in Christ  .A clean vessel of the Lord.

so he may pour new wine in .

Matthew 9:17

Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Servants of the New Covenant: 1-6-05

2Co 3:1...¶ Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

2Co 3:2...Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

2Co 3:3..Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Paul’s Second letter to the Corinthians was written during a difficult period in his relation with the church at Corinth. Some members of the church had evidently made strong attacks against Paul, but he shows his deep longing for reconciliation and expresses his great joy when this is brought about.

In the first part of the letter Paul discusses his relationship with the church, explaining why he had responded with severity to insult and opposition in the church and expressing his joy that this severity had resulted in repentance and reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 1:12-7:16).

Are we not servants of the New Covenant today as Paul was back then? Do we need letters of recommendation to show that we are servants? Least we boast? If you read these scriptures, it is clear that “we?ourselves, are the letters; written by Christ himself. Not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, and not on stone tables, but written on our hearts. Are we going around with a veil over our face as Paul did, when separated from the church? There is noting in us that says we can do God’s work on our own. The capacity we have comes from God;  it is He who made us capable of serving the new covenant, which consists not of a written law, but of the Spirit.  The written law brings death, but the Spirit gives life. We should remove the veil and let the Spirit of the living God shine in our face. We are nothing on our own.

Continuing on this teaching by sister Betty (reconciliation)

The world is under the curse of death because of the fall of Adam. Our only escape from the curse of sin and death is through accepting Christ on ‘His?terms of discipleship. To have a new beginning one must be willing to step out of the old and into newness of life. We must be willing to follow where He leads, he has walked the path; he has gone before us making the crocked paths straight. When Jesus said, “Follow me?and his disciples asked what that might be like, he merely said, “come and see.?Come, be my partner---I will do this with you, not for you. With out Him we can do nothing, because we don’t know the path to righteousness. Death comes to our mortal bodies because of sin. Our eternal life comes only through the blood of Christ.

2Co 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Amen Sister!! (continuing)

God wants His children (the world) to reconcil with Him. when we come to Christ, we (as Christians) are a new creature in His likeness. Thsi is all done by God, who through Christ, changed us from enimies into his friends and gave us a task (as his disciples, witnesses, ambassadors) of making others his friends also.

 2Co 5:19 KJV
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2Co 5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2Co 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

God did not keep an account of their sins, and he has given us the message (The Good News) which tells how he makes then his friends. Thats what this message is all about. It a messages of reconciliation with Christ.
Here we are, then, speaking for Christ, as though God himself were making his appeal through us (his disciples). We plead on Christ's behalf; let God change you from enimies (sinners) int o his friends!
21;) Christ was without sin, but fo rour sake God made him share our sin in order that in union with him we might share the righteousness of God.
In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have recieved God's grace not to let it be wasted. Hear what God says;
2Co 6:2
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
This is the hour to recieve God, today is the day to be saved. Glory to God!!

When Jesus hang on the cross, and was the once and for all blood sacrifice. It brought a new way of life. Because of what Jesus did, we can now enter into the holys of holy and come be fore the very thrown of God. there is no need to have an animal to sacrifice or a preast to do this for us.   For we are the Blood Washed  Church The redeemed. Now haveing studyed the newness of life,With a burning desire to  go deeper in the word.
as Jesus spoke to the fisherman. To cast their net on the right side
I feel Jesus saying to his children cast yournets in the deep. go deaper .
The Lord Has so much in store for us,
and Folks it is recorded in his word.

Father God we thank You for your Word
for giving your son Jesus to be the sacrifice that was needed
and for sending us the Holy Ghost
to lead and guied us in to all turths
In Jesus name we pray
amen amen

Jhn. 21:3
Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
Jhn 21 :4
But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus
Jhn.21 :5
Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
Jhn:21 :6
And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Yes we are, Betty searching for souls is what it is all about the great commission! But we forget. I know people who get more involed with the people of the church then the church,. I go to church toworship God. the Pastor lastnight was talking about people who have left his church because he didn't care about what others were wearing he cared about their souls. That has to come first. It is a new begining for me this year and I feel it! the Lord has rentered my heart! My diet is cleansing my earth body, and my devotionals, church and study  and gtrannies..(teehee)are working on my spiritual self.
Praise God!

Amen Angel!! great to see you in Bible Study I'm so glad you found a new church and wish you many blessings there. Thats right, God don't care what we are wearing when we worship Him or witness to others, so long as we are letting His light so shine before the world!!
My little church has had a lot of turnovers in past years, but if the faithful ones hang on, God will fill the pews again and again! Amen!

Yes  there has been times I would have love to gone to a church and didnt feel I could dress well enough. So didnt go,
I know that we are to dress our very best for the Lord. More inportant is the inward man not his dress, for our father looks on the heart .thank God.
We are to be dressed in his rightusness ,than others may see Christ in me not what im wearing.

I two want a new walk with the Lord this new year, stronger than ever before. For I truely belive we must place our selfs in the light of the Lord so we are ready for his returning for his bride
To know with out a shadow of a dout where we stand with God.
And to stop allowing the things that hasnt a thing in this world to do with God to weight us down, To be what the Lord wants us to be and that my friend is to be more like him.To take the word of the Lord for just what it says. And to proclaim every promise. To use the Power
he has given us through the Holy Ghost to defeat satan,And proclaim Victory in his name Jesus.
To wake every morning knowing that if not today ,than this is just one day closer to his returning. Glory!
God Bless each one this day and walk in the light of his word, for we know he is the light.
