Since having this new pc, its great bar one thing
Take birthday messages for example, the thread opens up and I can see each message box reply, I can see each members nickname (comp with 
face), I can see all emoticons within the box and all type, but I can't see any pics at all 
Another example is the Chalky thread by Day, all I can see is what Day typed, there are no pics in the post and I assume by what everyone else says that there should be.
BTW there isnt a box with a red cross, so I can't even click and try that.
I looked up the IE help files on viewing pics and it says to go to internet options, multi media and apart from display image place holders option, there is a green tick in each of the boxes, I tried taking the ticks out but then I just got pages with type on and lost all the emoticons
Am I missing something? (I have Java 2 platform ver 1.5 loaded and installed), I've also tried to view pages using firefox browser and its the same thing I can see whats been typed but no pics or graphics, although I can see the microsoft ads at the top of the page.
When I open a reply box I can click on the little mountains button and upload pics from my pc and they load in the reply box, once I press send the post is then added to the boards but I cant even see my own pics.
I can see all the photos that are in the albums so thats not a problem, I just can't see them in the posts (I cant see the pics that Jay made and downloaded as our postboxes either)
Anyone any ideas, I'm assuming that there's something I need to be able to view, but I don't not what
