OK .......... running an anti-virus programme is normally a good idea.
You never know what little bugs and viruses will get sent to you .
Here is AVG... its free and updates automatically with new information on viruses.
 
Then click on downloads.
 
Any anti-virus is only as good as it's last update, so whilst it's always advisable to have a real-time virus checker like these running all the time, I also run Housecall once a week because it updates weekly.

You are a star Dizz, I was just about to ask about free check. My Norton has gone funny ( not renewed it ) so I have uninstalled and used this....so far its found 3 worms and 2 different trojans on my pc. Hasnt finished yet.....
 
No wonder I was having problems

Awwwwwwwww bless ya Nic ... just remember your anit virus is only as good at its last update.
 
i.e if you dont update the data base how is it to know about new viruses ?
