I'm nearly finished a book called Stillriver or something. It's been really good all the way through. It's about a man who comes home to Stillriver because his father was murdered and when home rekindles his relationship with his childhood sweetheart. Then the author has to ruin it by tying up the story in the last 10 or so pages. Why do so many books end like that? a big rush to end the story.... bloody irritating...
