Bet into this book, excellent. About a boy with cancer who disappears from hospital and his parents end up dead. There is a cult thrown in for good measure.

Then he wraps the book up in the last 20 pages or so and it so crap I was shoveling it out of my bedroom for a week....

Why do people get a great story, tell it really well and completely fuck up the ending with ridiculous plots.

I know I hate that. I'm reading Karen Slaughter's 4th book Faithless. So far up to her usual brilliant standard and I'm loving it.
