HI EVERYONE, THANX YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUGGESTIONS! YOU ALL HELP SO MUCH. WELL, I AM OFFICIALLY OFF THE METHADONE. ONE OF YOU SAID I DID'NT GIVE ENOUGH INFO ABOUT MYSELF. I AM 40 YEARS OLD. I HAVE BEEN USING ON AND OFF FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS. MY HABIT WAS HEAVIEST RIGHT BEFORE I WENT TO THE CLINIC. I WAS UP TO 10 BAGS A DAY. FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS. I COULD,NT STOP THIS TIME ON MY OWN, SO I WENT TO THIS METH. CLINIC. MY MAX DOSE WAS 45MG. THEY BROUGHT ME DOWN SLOWLY WITHIN 6 MONTHS I WAS OUT. I LEFT THE CLINIC 3 DAYS AGO AT 5 MGS. I JUST DID'NT GO BACK. I WEAR A CLONODINE PATCH. IT REALLY HELPS ALOT! I ALSO TAKE REMERON, AN ANTIDEPREESANT THAT HELPS ME TO SLEEP. AT LEAST A LITTLE BETTER. MY WORST SYMPTOMS NOW ARE LACK OF ENERGY AND RESTLESSNESS, AND NO APPITITE. I HAVE TO CONTINUE WORKING DURING THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME. I CAN HARDLY WALK ACROSS THE ROOM THOUGH! DO ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESESTIONS ON INCREASING ENERGY? WHEN WILL IT COME BACK, ECT. ?? I LOOK FOWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU ... THANX CINDY |

<PRE>Your won't have any energy until the clonadine is out of your system. This is typical of this drug. Don't rush things. I would leave it on until it does not work anymore, just to be safe. Eat healthy, drink plenty of water, and after the patch is off, exercise. You will get more and more energy back. Randy

Soma is a muscle relaxer that is given out pretty liberally. In many states it isn't classified as a controlled substance so doctors are pretty comfortable prescribing it. It is also nonhabit forming, so you won't get strung out on it which is definately a plus. I would ask a doc for it, or else go to the emergancy room and fake some drama and get a script there. It's alot harder to get a simple vicoden than it is to get soma aka carisoprodal. It will help with the muscle cramps and restlessness and it will also make you sleepy! TK |

Right on sapphire! That's all great news! I've not been in methadone treatment but you can most likely find the answers to your questions in here. Maybe just beginning slowly, for example stretching and breathing exercises to help your energy level. Hope you're feeling better soon. ROCK'N'ROLL !! Later on, with love, flapjack
