This book is not for the weak stomached and was actually made into a movie that is on DVD now.  The book is fantastic though- it offers a real life view on where our food comes from through a fictional story.  It's pretty graphic though and I went vegetarian for a spell after I read it and again after I watched the movie.  It definitely will make you more aware of the toxins our food puts in our bodies sometimes though and made me much more cautious of how I buy and handle my meat in particular.  If anyone reads it or has read it let me know how it goes.
