Serves: 4 Ingredients 3/4 cup liquid-egg substitute 6 fluid ounces milk, fat-free 1 tablespoon sugar substitute 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 8 slices raisin cinnamon swirl bread 4 teaspoons margarine, canola-based, trans-fat free 4 tablespoons reduced calorie pancake syrup
Preparation - Beat egg substitute, milk, sugar substitute and vanilla with a hand beater or wire whisk until smooth; pour into a shallow bowl.
- Spray a griddle or non-stick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat.
- Dip bread into egg mixture, coating both sides. Cook about 4 minutes one each side or until golden brown.
- Cut each piece diagonally and divide among 4 plates (4 halves per plate). Arrange so halves are overlapping eachother.
- Top each plate with 1 teaspoon of margarine and drizzle each with 1 tablespoon of syrup. Serve immediately.
