We need to replace negative thoughts with positive ones.  All of us have depression at some point in our lives.  So why do some people get over in a few days and for others it goes on for weeks or months?

We begin to develop our esteem at a young age.  Through our play and activities, our interactions with parents, family menbers, teachers, coaches and peers help shape how we look at and feel about ourselves.  Those of us who are depressed longer and more deeply are the ones that keep holding on to our negative experiences.   Thinking of these negative experiences allow them to distort our view of the present and future.

Rebutting these negative thoughts and replacing them with positive and constructive thoughts will help you overcome the negative destdructive out come and build a good relationship with yourself.  There are three of us, me, myself, and I.  All three of us need to have a good relationship to have a good life.
