Some may think this is weird.. But pets are our kids.... And we really need some prayers right now.
My sister Liz had to put her cat to sleep today, she has been sick for 2 months now, and nothing more could be done. Speedy Meme was a great cat..She just turned 4.. she was my niece...
And my other sister Sarah is taking her great dane mix to the doc today.. He has torn a ligament in his back leg, and he can't put pressure on him. He is a 171 pound dog, and he is to big that it is putting to much pressure on the rest of him. This is the 2nd vet he is going to for a 2nd opinion. The first vet says he has to have surgery and the surgery for his size would be over $2000. She doesn't have that much money, and none of us have it to loan. So if there isn't anything else the new vet can do, she is going to put him down also. He can't suffer anymore. The pain meds they gave aren't helping at all. He is 7 years old and he is a sweet heart.. He's the black one... Katie, his sister, is the boxer.
Today has just been a bad day, and it is taking a toll on me, cause they are my family. They are my niece and nephew.. I don't know what I would do if I lost one of my 3 babies. It's just hard.
